(1) Full Bath with shower. Just a couple stairs lead up to the deck and entrance door. Charcoal grill, bring your own charcoal. Bring your own Firewood. Well appointed kitchen with cookware, dishes, coffee cups, glasses, silverware, drip coffee maker with coffee filters, paper towel, napkins. Bring your Kayak or boat. Electric Fire Place. Plenty of parking for truck and trailer. Snowmobile, biking, trail in front of home that leads into Washburn, WI. (3) Flat Screen Smart ROKU TV's. Bring your log in and password for Netflix & Prime.
Enjoy the lake side deck on this well kept and appointed home. Located just 2 miles south of Washburn, Wisconsin & 14 miles south of Bayfield, Wisconsin on beautiful Lake Superior. Snowmobile trail, Cross Country and Walking trail just across frontage road in front of home. This trail leads into Downtown Washburn.

After making a reservation, we will email you and you must immediately reply to our email (not VRBO messaging) with your full address, names of guests and which are adults and children and their addresses, for Wisconsin Guest Registry Statute.

Only one word can describe this beach house, AWESOME! Beach front, beautiful view of the bay, a mile to Washburn, less than 12 miles to Bayview and the Apostle Islands, 5.5 miles to Ashland. Jack is an amazing host, always kept in communication with me. Made sure everything was acceptable with the home.Definitely plan on returning.

Had a lovely weekend at the Washburn House! Could not ask for a more beautiful view and perfect location (proximity to Washburn - cute little town with everything you need and good restaurants and coffee - North Coast!). Place was as described, clean, and had everything we needed. Lots of outdoor seating options and you can’t beat the sandy beach. Check out Tesner’s dairy nearby and Houghton Falls. Would 100% stay here again.

Loved our experience. The view was beautiful. Beach front was great. When the lake was calm, we could walk out into the water about 100 yards before it started to get too deep. House had everything we needed. Would stay again.

Beautiful spot on the lake

The lake house was an awesome getaway for the family. With the apostle islands and many waterfalls close by, there are tons of outdoor activities. The view of Lake Superior is wonderful and great way to wake up with the sunrise.

Luke, Happy you enjoyed The Washburn Beach House! Yes, lots of great walking trails like Houghton Falls (just a few miles north of Washburn on Highway 13 on the way to Bayfield. In Bayfield you have the "Old Iron Bridge walking trail at Washington Ave and Broad street. The Brown Stone trail near the boat launch in downtown Bayfield. Come see us again! Jack Armstrong

Quick Getaway

Our family stayed here for a couple nights to enjoy Lake Superior. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, we enjoyed our time at this home. The kids played in the sand and we loved being able to watch out the window as the rain came down. The owner was very responsive and helped us out with everything we needed. The is a great place to stay for some rest and relaxation!

Washburn Beach House

The house was like advertised. It was right on the beach and the house was close enough to hear the waves if the windows were open. We were lucky and saw a family of loons on the lake throughout our stay.

Relaxing get away

Very peaceful cabin within steps of the water. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. When we are in the area we would definitely stay here again.

Midweek 3 night stay. Communications with management were efficient and accurate. Check in, no problems. The property was as expected. The pictures are accurate. Being on the water is a huge asset. It has the “cabin” feel. Wondering if they got a discount on the “cocktial” sign on the beech…

Worked in the Twin Cities most of our lives and constantly were drawn back to Lake Superior through classmates, relatives, friends, and of course the beauty of Lake Superior and The Apostle Islands. Great people, clean air, fresh artesian water, and the views of the surrounding areas are refreshing everyday that we rise. We look forward to having you enjoy Ashland, Washburn, Bayfield, Cornucopia and the entire area.

We chose this area because of the beautiful protected beach and views of Lake Superior, the Washburn Marina off in the distance as well as the lights across Chequamegon Bay from Ashland, Wisconsin. Bring your kayak!
Close to the Valhala Pub and great snowmobile trails that go right past the Beach House.
A frontage road is between The Washburn Beach House from the snowmobile trail and adjoining Highway 13. The Snowmobile trail is a biking and walking trail in spring, summer and fall and leads into Washburn, WI. Just 2 miles from Washburn with Food, Spirits, Shops, Gas, Laundry, Grocery store and great parks.

Well kept home, in excellent condition and easy to walk down to the beach on the lawn with no steps! Bring your Kayak, Canoe, or snowmobile in the winter and do some Ice Fishing right out from the home.
