The Barn, Ferme Noemie, Cycle/Ski. Large property, lovely location

The Barn is the largest of four gites at Ferme Noemie, Bourg d'Oisans. The Barn has two very large triple bedrooms on the upper level. The spacious living area, tastefully furnished is on the lower level which leads out onto a sunny south facing balcony. The bathroom with bath/shower and a separate wc are also on the lower level. Ferme Noemie is a small holiday complex incorporating four self catering gites, two mobile homes and a small campsite with 20 emplacements. Set in the stunning, peaceful surroundings of the Oisans valley,
Les Sables, our little hamlet, is 4.5kms from Bourg d'Oisans, along the flat. Ferme Noemie is a well established family run business offering a range of accomodation options to suit all budgets. Offering a selection of properties we can accommodate a large family group, club or training squad. Breakfast preorder possible in peak season, evening meals can be arranged in a local restaurant. We are on hand to offer as much or as little assistance as required.
Off street parking, bike store/ski store.
Please advise at the time of booking if you require linen hire which may be paid for during your stay, together with the tourist tax.

Stayed in the Barn. Very spacious lounge and dining area with well equipped kitchen. Beds fine, but dont feel particularly sturdy. Host very attentive, friendly , and great for information on cycle routes. Overall, a lovely getaway

Lovely stay

Spacious, comfortable and well-equipped holiday apartment outside Le Bourg d'Oisans, but within a short drive or bike reach. Therefore very quiet especially at night. Lovely views from the balcony and bedroom windows. Owner Melanie was very welcoming and helpful.

Fantastic location, great facilities and a very helpful owner

We had a great week in this excellent accommodation. It was clean, tidy and had all the facilities we needed including a secure bike store and early morning bread deliveries (pain raisin were huge and very tasty). Melanie was very welcoming and gave us great tips for our week of cycling as well as some very good maps and guides. The location is very peaceful and a good jumping off point for some of the famous Cols. The valley road is just at the end of the lane with a generous, pot-hole free cycle lane and a good warm up/cool down stretch of road after a hard day of cycling. The kitchen/diner/lounge layout was very generous and although there were only the 2 of us, even with the maximum 6 people there is plenty of space. Cooking facilities were good, plenty of work surface, pots and pans and with the supermarket just a 10 minute drive away it was really easy to self-cater. The balcony had great views and lots of sun in the afternoon and evening and was a perfect place for a relaxing aperitif while gazing at the beautiful mountains. We will definitely be back for more cycling and would recommend Ferme Noemie to anyone planning a similar trip.

Great accommodation, excellent size

The Barn is a large well equipped property that excelled in meeting the needs of 2 cyclists! Its located in a quiet side street a couple of hundred yards off the main road to Bourg d'Oisans with beautiful views of the mountains from front and rear. Excellent for self catering, but no shops or restaurants within walking distance, so a 10 minute trip to either Allemont or Bourg is required for supplies or eating out. Melanie was extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of local information provided on arrival to allow planning for your holiday. Road cyclists: look out for the closed road events held every Tuesday in the local area!
