Markington with Wallerthwaite holiday lettings

We had been looking forward to this little break in Yorkshire especially as TheThreshing Barn looks so gorgeous. Unfortunately we had to cancel with about a week to go as our dog became very unwell and needed urgent treatment. Andrew and Kate were very sympathetic. We hope to be able to stay at The Threshing Barn next year. Fingers crossed!

What a great find, the process of booking was easy description of the property was spot on.I could not have wished for a better stay, a real shame I could not have stayed for longer.It was very comfortable and the extra touches provided by the host made it even better. Some people have had multiple stays and I can fully understand why and I will probably do the same

had a great stay, property was immaculate and had everything you needed. me and my wife will book again and stay longer. loads of things to do all just a few minutes away.

A week in the summer. Great location for exploring the Yorkshire Moors and Dales.

A well equipped cottage in a beautiful location. Greeted with a welcome hamper full of Yorkshire treats and a tasty homemade cake. We didn’t meet the owners as they were away but their son was at hand and we also received an email to check in on us which I was a nice touch. A peaceful place to holiday and thoughtfully kitted out, it was like home from home.
