At the heart of History

Sophie was a great hostess, the cottage is ideally placed near to Sword beach (just a walk away) on a holiday leisure park. We explored the area which easily covered our interest in History from William the Conqueror ( check out his home town of Dives sur Mer ) to the D Day landing beaches. The cottage although smallish was well equipped …. All in all , a nice little place to stay… the facilities of the next door campsite were available to renters of the cottage… Thank you Sophie …

Normandy

Property is ideally situated for visiting the Normandy beaches etc. Facilities very good, indoor and outdoor pools. What came as a surprise was being informed 2 days prior to our arrival, (myself contacting the host as opposed to the other way as stated it would be) being informed that there was the requirement for a 50 euro deposit for cleaning of the accommodation at the end of the stay, nothing mentioned about this during the booking process. As for the check in process, well!!, Having being told that if we needed to check in prior to 7:30 pm I would need to collect the keys from the hosts place of work which I agreed to if I could have the GPS details. I was then informed that I needed to arrive at 6pm, no later !! we then had to plan our day accordingly, was not really impressed with this. Check in was a whistle-stop tour of the accommodation, I would say less than 5 mins all told. We did clean the accommodation prior to leaving, don't think it had seen a deep clean in a while, accommodation probably cleaner than it has been in a long time. It would have been nice if the welcoming pack was duplicated in English as well as French. The above said, we had a great time, and just to repeat the accommodation is ideally situated and very quiet and peaceful location, we were just taken a back a bit with the arrival timing and the cleaning regime.

Je rebondis sur ce que vous dites pour le nettoyage le cottage est nettoye en profondeur systématiquement. Il est exactement comme sur les photos de l'annonce Et en ce qui concerne la caution menage c'est bien écrit sur l'annonce et je le répète justement avant que les voyageurs arrivent pour ne pas qu'ils oublient car les trois quarts du temps ils ne l'ont pas vu la preuve et vous ne l'aviez pas vu Les règles sont bien écrites sur l'annonce il faut juste les accepter lors de la réservation

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Hochwertige und gemütliche Ausstattung. Innen und Außen ist alles da, was gebraucht wird. Das Ferienhaus ist in der Anlage sehr ruhig gelegen. Das Schwimmbad der Anlage verfügt über tolle Rutschen für die Kinder und ist mit der Teilüberdachung auch bei schlechtem Wetter (welches wir nicht hatten) nutzbar. Sehr nette und freundliche Vermieter. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit.
