Comfortable stay

Property as described and hosts very present, living next door, ever helpful and informative. Hot tub lovely. Furnishings and fittings a bit dated but in-keeping with the property. Generally clean and comfortable. WiFi excellent.

Wonderfully comfortable little cottage

Bramble Cottage is a delightful, cosy place to stay. There are two double bedrooms with very comfy beds, the living room has all the local information you would need. The location was perfect for our conference at nearby Conkers and the Youth Hostel. Nicky and Tony were very helpful with everything, and kindly mailed back a coat we left behind.Accessing the secure off-road parking space can be a little tricky, especially if you have a large vehicle, but I felt quite an expert when we left.I would love to return in summer - the hot tub looked so inviting and there's a lovely little sunroom that would be prefect for relaxation. There's plenty to nearby although many attractions are closed in winter. The takeout Chinese restaurant down the road is one of the best and reasonably priced. In summary, I highly recommend Bramble Cottage and our friendly hosts, Nicky and Tony

Fine, what we paid for

Parking space was very tight when you have a slightly larger car. There really is only one pub nearby which only has food on a Sunday. There is a chip shop opposite which is handy. Glad we read to take our own towels for hot tub. Overall, the place is fine, quite small but we knew that. There was a rather fine collection of kitchen utensils and glasses
