Tippingrock is located across Skagit Bay from the Whidby Island Naval Air Station. The navy/air force practice formations during the week. Sometimes they are over La Conner, other times they are further south or north and we don't hear them. They do not fly Friday night, Saturday or Sunday. Some folks enjoy the formations, other don't like the noise. We want you to be informed as we never know when, or if, they will be flying (except NOT on weekends.) It is usually a dull roar in the distance but since the Iran war, it has become more noticeable.

The house was located in a beautiful part on the outskirts of Laconner Washington. The water from the bay came up and down to the house daily. It was awesome. Saw bald eagles, deer and rabbits. Fabulous location, visited Anacortes, a couple of different times easy commute. Peaceful, relaxing, quiet, cozy. Girls trip and we all loved it. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows squishy. Which I love.
Perfect! The views were amazing. The home was spotless. Kitchen complete with lots of coffee and tea. Comfy beds and super soft towels. Would definitely come back! Oh and the hot tub was hot and such an extra perk!
Gorgeous water view from the living room, dining room and kitchen. Very nice deck and hot tub overlooking the water. Kitchen was nicely stocked so meals were easy to prepare. We enjoyed watching the birds, bunnies and the tides flow in and out in front of the house. Beautiful sunsets!! A big bonus, we loved the eclectic collection of art in the home. We hope to return to this fabulous home.
Everything was excellent. Would suggest a cheap portable dry rack that can be set up outside to hang swimsuits on when getting out of the hot tub. Challenging finding someplace to let suits dry. But overall was excellent.
The house and property is wonderful, beautiful views and sunsets, hot tub was clean and stayed hot. There were enough linens and towels, the BBQ had plenty of supplies. The stove was great! The kitchen had all you need. The beds were comfy. Close to la Connar with restaurants and shops! We hope to come back again!
This property has everything it claims it has to offer. From the waterfront to the wildlife to the quiet to the sunsets and all of which you can view from the hot tub. Such a beautiful and peaceful piece of paradise! We brought our pet with us and they were very welcoming to us bringing them. La Conner is also a very pet friendly town to explore. It makes it such a lovely area to travel to with a pet and be able to stay comfortably and have an amazing adventure with your furry friend! We will definitely be back!
Lovely clean property with amazing views, spent most of our stay in the hot tub hovering over the water. We loved the art and cd music collection. Plenty of towels and bedding. Well equipped kitchen. The house worked well for our family of 4, parents with 2 teens, and small dog.
One of loveliest stays I've had. The space was beautiful and impeccably clean. Everything was comfortable and cozy. Our host was accommodating and quick to respond. What a treat.
Awesome property for our trip! Offered us a central location for our exploring and was a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Great owner to work with as well. Thank you!
Having grown up on the Eastern Seaboard as a young child I built this home in memory of living on the beach.
