This is an very old "built in 1934" home. It's been cheaply upgraded through the years. The furniture and artwork are pretty cheap and the artwork is placed hap hassardly thoroughout the place. The dining room table chairs are dirty. The shower curtain on one of the showers was at least 2" too short... so had to use the other shower so the water wouldn't get all over the floor. The place isn't very appealing. And there are a lot of stairs down to get to the house, and they are brick and not all the same height so you have to be very careful. The best thing about this place is it is right on the beach and there is a nice sized deck where you can hang out and there is more than enough parking on the property.... so that was nice.

As a vacation rental, the home does see a lot of use and wear over time, so we do try to balance durability and cost-effective furnishings with décor that fits the coastal theme. We understand that most guests are here to enjoy the beach and location, and we’re glad those were highlights of your stay. We’ll also be replacing the shower curtain, which is an easy fix. Had we known about the issue during your stay, we would have been happy to address it for you. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention!

Lovey stay right on the beach!

Great location! Loved the bedroom overlooking the water - it felt like we were perched in a nest.

Great Location!

We enjoyed our stay at this waterfront home. The home was mostly as shown and had the basics for cooking. Communication with the hosts was smooth and the check in was easy.

A great house right on the water

Our family was able to safely get together for a quiet beach front get away. The check in and check out was very easy. The staff was very accommodating and available if there were any needs. We loved the porch overlooking the ocean and the private beach. We look forward to staying again soon.

Couldn’t be closer to the ocean!

My husband and I needed a little getaway and this house was perfect! It was spotless and so organized! The view was beyond amazing and the sound of the waves was so relaxing. The kitchen had everything you might need to prepare meals and the knives were even sharpened! The bed was so comfortable, the linens and towels so nice. We can’t wait to stay again!

The oven did not work on Christmas Day. We had planned on cooking our meal since everything was closed. The neighborhood was lovely the home was lacking a bit of luster!

Because of the rain event, when we arrived the steps and patio that led to the front door was filled with water! Inside the large window facing the ocean was leaking water. The oven also did not work, but we figured out by unplugging the stove and plugging it back it reset the front panel. Overall its a beautiful place, but feel that these mishaps should be addressed. We would love to return!

Breathtakingly Beautiful!

This was absolutely incredible! I am having withdrawals. Waking up everyday to the most beautiful view never got old! It was so incredible to have our private beach, and then to also be able to walk directly down (4 steps through the rock path) to the public beach. The rooms were large, bathrooms were perfect, kitchen was lovely, family room was large enough to all hang out, the decks were incredible. It was incredible and beautiful and full of so much charm. All the secure, private parking and access to the garage was awesome. Can’t wait to come back! Everything was in fantastic condition.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Perfect Family Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All we wanted was a house directly on the sand, which this house provided for us. It was very comfortable for my husband and I, and 2 little kids. That being said if you are looking for luxury accommodations this is not the place for you. But it was perfect for our weekend family getaway and we would love to return.

Anniversary/Babymoon Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for our first anniversary/babymoon with our 2 dogs and had a FANTASTIC stay. The location couldn't be better and our dogs loved being able to explore a sandy/beachy area for the first time. There isn't much time you're able to be down by the shore before the waves overtake it, but just being right on the water is so nice. There were some ants in the kitchen and bathroom, along with some little things that were broken in the house (locks, door stopper, etc.), but it definitely wouldn't deter us from staying here again. You also do not have to do anything before leaving (any cleaning, stripping beds, etc), the property management team takes care of all that which is very nice. We hope to be back one day for sure!
