Lovely place!

The smithy is a great size..very comfortable, fabulous kingsize bed, Great fridge/freezer, cooker microwave, TV..the list goes on...oh...and a quiet kettleHorses, donkeys, rabbits, the list goes on again.Really worth a stay!

Holiday

Fantastic stay and would stay again. A few cobwebs about in the property,Cutlery needed a wash before we could use it and the shower was a bit odd. Other than that we loved it.

Excellent base

Brilliant base for one or two people. Cannot fault the condition of the property. Incredibly comfy bed, spotless bathroom, comprehensively equipped kitchen.

3day Stay

Very comfortable, very clean, all normal appliances for a longer stay. We are older people and would have appreciated grab rails in the shower. Otherwise very happy with the accommodation.

Can't fault it.

Absolutely perfect for us. My wife, the dog and I found everything we wanted. The 'cottage' was a good size with everything we needed. It was well equipped and everything worked as it should. We would use this place again if we were to revisit the area.

Peace and quiet

Exactly what I needed at the time. Whilst dog friendly there was nowhere for the dogs to do their toilet unless I walked down the lane which was also used by traffic. A dedicated dog area would be an added bonus to an amazing place to stay. I will definitely be booking again 👍

Lonely place

Everything was okay so far, but we missed the communication - we got notes on the phone and there was a welcoming folder prepared. It would have been better seeing / meeting someone.

Well located near the Botanic Garden and castles.

Property was fine, only drawback whilst we were there was the wind but it is what it is. Only complaint was nothing to do with the property, more that the O2 network coverage was poor, but other networks are available, so no wifi became a problem, but EE wifi is available if you are a BT customer.

Mooi huisje op een prachtige locatie

Wat een fijn huisje om enige tijd te verblijven. Het is van alle gemakken voorzien zoals een vaatwasser, wasmachine, stofzuiger en wc-papier.We hebben genoten de prachtige en rustige locatie en centrale ligging.Bij aankomst was het huisje matig schoongemaakt. We troffen overal hondenharen aan en de tafels waren nog erg plakkerig. Na dit zelf even schoongemaakt te hebben, hebben we genoten van alle gemakken.

Relaxing short stay

Quiet, enjoyable stay. Ideal location for trips out. Handy for Carmarthen Town and Railway Station as well as lovely countryside. No wi-fi.

Peaceful place, good location

Everything was good about this place. Arrival worked perfectly, comfortable sofa and excellent facilities. Lovely big fridge was appreciated during a hot week in Wales. No table outside although one is pictured online ....it would have been nice to have one as we sat outside a lot. Laminate flooring a bit slippy for the dog, and you need to take your dog along the lane on the lead for his wees and poo. There is farm traffic on the lane so take care. Overall a great stay.

Our stay at Converted Barn

Nice property to stay at for holiday but it was not cleaned properly before our arrival. The main points to note were that we had to clean fridge before use as there was a lot of food debris and dirt in compartments; the bath had a dirty " tide line" on it and the walls surrounding shower had patches of grime on it which we cleaned. That apart, the cottage was well equipped however, we did notice that the shower head moved about.

Overall it was very clean and comfortable. Over bath shower, the rail needs attention as its a bit loose and the shower head twists round.
