Vintage Lakefront Home in Historic Van Buren Point

Year round vintage lakefront home with 6 updated bedrooms, 1.5 baths, fully stocked kitchen with all your gourmet cooking needs. A cozy living room filled with vintage games, books, gas fireplace and movies!

Large lot with trees, wood pellet smoker grill and bonfire pit with amazing lake view. Take a cozy nap near the birch log gas fireplace.

In winter, it becomes a vintage winter wonderland.

High speed fiber internet and high end appliances. Work remote in a quiet relaxed environment or unplug to getaway from it all and connect with nature.

Also waves can get rough at times in the lake. If you are swimming in the lake please also proceed at your own risk.

Guests will have full access to all areas of the property.

I live on Lake Erie within 10 minutes of the property, and I'm available 24/7 for any questions, comments, or concerns.

Pets, Parties and Events will need to be approved with host prior to reservation. There is a $100 pet fee due prior to check-in.

Reservations to host Weddings are subject to an additional Venue and Cleaning fee. Please inquire with host for more information and pricing.

You must be 26+ years old to make a reservation due to safety and insurance requirements, unless otherwise approved by host. Valid ID will need to be presented at check-in.

The use of confetti, glitter, silly string, or any other party supplies that result in stains or additional cleaning is strictly prohibited on the premises. Violation of this will result in additional cleaning fees charged to your reservation as well as forfeit of your reservation deposit.

If house rules are broken; including non-disclosed pets, additional guests, not approved parties/events, abuse/damage to home/property will result in a No-Refund Cancellation & Deposit withheld.

Reservation modifications are treated as and subject to the same rules as the cancellation policy. Please submit modification/alteration requests in advance (7+ days) prior to check-in, otherwise requests within the 7 days to the check-in date may be denied.

Thanksgiving at Lake Erie

Nice quiet house beautiful property!

House was great for our small wedding party to stay at during the ceremony. The owner communicated with us about a few things needing fixed and had no problem with the guests arriving early. Very cute and quiet little area!

Lovely House on Lake Erie

We absolutely loved staying at this property. It has a beautiful view out over Lake Erie in a quiet little neighborhood. You wake up in the morning to the gulls calling and the waves crashing on the beach. Lauren was an excellent host. The house was well stocked with everything you could wish for.

Relaxing at the Lake

Very comfortable and relaxing place. Everything we needed for convenience was there, especially for cooking/grilling. Good beds and a lot of quality towels. Yard space for badminton or tossing the football. Great family place, we will be back.

The house had so many extras that often aren't provided. They were very accommodating to our requests and went above and beyond. Would stay again at this property or any of their otjers. Great experience!

We were in the area to attend our son's senior recital at SUNY Fredonia. The house was perfect for our family. It was so comfortable and had everything we needed. Nice selection of games and my son and his friend loved the tandem bike! The view was amazing, I can only imagine how nice it would be in warmer weather.

Fascistic for our family

Lauren was easy to work with and it was a lovely house in a lovely neighborhood. I don't think anyone should hesitate about staying here. The bikes were a wonderful touch.

Wonderful Way to Kick off Summer

The cottage was perfect for our family. Extremely clean, easy check in. Everything you could want and more for your stay.. Coffee station, S’more station, board games, bikes, and yard games. The views are amazing! We happened to have terrific weather all three of our days… really enjoyed my many walks through out this community.This property and area is very special!

Special Family Weekend

This was our second year to spend a family weekend together at Lauren’s Van Buren Point lake house. The home is quaint, comfortable, and very well-furnished, and with six bedrooms and two baths, there is plenty of room for the ten of us. Having Lake Erie right across the road from us was again wonderful, and the kids really enjoyed riding the bicycles. A very sweet weekend! Thanks, Lauren!

White Thanksgiving at Lake Erie

Nicely decorated with enough space for our family of 8. The outdoor fire ring, gas fireplace and record player were a hit again. Unfortunately due to the snow we couldn’t use the tandem bikes. We enjoyed the upgrades from last year (2nd floor ceiling, light fixtures & new refrigerator).

Family Weekend Getaway

We love this cute cottage and this our second stay there. Everything is so cute and cozy. We had no problem sleeping 11 people and brought our families 2 pups along as it is dog friendly. There are so many lovely touches that make this place extra special from the awesome bikes available to ride through the area and the beautiful dishes and thinks like lots of coffee, dog treats and s'mores fixings that just put it over the top. I would 100% recommend.

Back in time to the '70's

My parents took our family of 6 plus the dog on a summer vacation to VBP , last 2 weeks of August , staying in 5 different cottages over a 7 year period, in the late 1960's thru the mid-1970's. This 5 day visit was my attempt to give my 5 kids (now 20-37) memories like I still have. It worked , this home was the perfect spot to stay and have an excellent vacation experience. Owners VERY resposive and accessible , they seemed to anticipate our every need during our stay. We would go back next year in a heartbeat !

Outstanding family time!

Laid back vacation. Kids road bikes and scooters. Oldest grandchild is 8 and youngest 2. They loved being together. Totally equipped house. Family friendly house. All the linens and towels were good quality and clean.

We Love Lake Life!

This was our group's second visit to the cottage. Lauren has thought of everything to make the cottage feel comfortable including countless amenities to make our stay even more enjoyable. If you need something, chances are excellent that she's already thought of it! Such a warm and welcoming host & home! We had a fantastic time and the weather was spectacular for the holiday weekend. Winter weekend getaway

Our second time staying at this lovely cottage on Van Buren point. Has everything you need and more. Impeccably clean cozy comfortable with plenty of games for entertainment. Playing hours of Jenga with 2 cozy fireplaces. Also a great fire pit outside to have an outdoor fire with plenty of wood. Host Lauren is great always great communication and everything perfect for our stay. Highly recommend and of course we will be coming back again.
