Monarch - Pacific Grove Triplex - Ocean View!

This lovely ocean view property is part of a triplex, but feels like a completely separate home. The living room, anchored by a stone fireplace, is one you'll never want to leave, and the kitchen—with two-toned painted cabinetry, exquisite granite and tumbled travertine—is straight out of a magazine. It has bar seating, stainless LG appliances, and a five-burner gas range with a convection oven. The adjoining dining area seats six, and there are views of the sea throughout.  The master bedroom and the guest room—both with King beds—share a stunning bath: two lavs and a walk-in shower outfitted with bronze fixtures and accented with warm golden stone and granite.  French doors off the kitchen open to a deck with a table, chairs, umbrella and a barbecue. You'll be spending a lot of time here. Framed by silvery eucalyptus, it's perfect for dining al fresco or relaxing in the sun, while listening to the wind rustle through the Monterey Pines.  Accessed via stairs from the street or directly from the single car garage below the patio, the Monarch suite shares a laundry room (adjacent to the garage) with the two one-bedroom units.

Monarch triplex

We recently stayed at the Monarch triplex for two months . The property could be made more comfortable by adding chairs for tv viewing in the living area, a couch is too uncomfortable. Recommend adding a portable heater for the bathroom, very cold in the morning, also additional lighting for makeup preparation. As this is a triplex the laundry area is shared suggest "no laundry" after 9pm, as the laundry is adjacent to the the bedroom walls. Kitchen well equipped, location very good. Need to add some emergency provisions when there is an electric outage.

Temporary home sweet home

My husband and I stayed at the Monarch Suite for about six weeks while transitioning between homes. The unit is lovely with beautiful views of the bay from the dining and kitchen areas. We enjoyed the updated kitchen and bathroom and single level living made it very easy to get around. The living room was very cozy with a big screen TV and remote controlled fireplace. The Monarch is in a quiet neighborhood, close to downtown Pacific Grove, golf course and ocean. We needed to make several changes to our reservation and Monterey Bay Property Rentals and the Monarch owner were very accommodating. This was a perfect rental for the two of us!
