Tranquility in Lajares

Fantastic, tranquil, location nestled in the outskirts of Lajares. House built in traditional stone and has a nice, laid back decor and ambience. Garden is well maintained and adds to the rustic ambience.

Wunderschöne Casa in herrlich ruhiger Umgebung!

Die Casa ist genau so schön wie auf den Bildern - eigentlich vor Ort noch schöner. Abseits vom Tourismus kann man herrlich entspannen und die schöne Umgebung bewundern. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig gestaltet, liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ideal zum Erholen. Der große Garten ist wunderschön mit Kakteen und Palmen bepflanzt. Ganz in der Nähe ist ein sehr schöner Wanderweg. Zum Einkaufen ist es auch nicht weit und so hat man alles, was man braucht. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und das Ein- und Ausschecken war völlig unkompliziert. Wir können dieses Haus zu 100 % weiterempfehlen und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Lovely and relaxing

We had a lovely stay here, it was just right for my husband and I with our nearly 2 year old. There is lots of space and it's nice and peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the sheltered terrace.

Idyllic island retreat, quiet, secluded, comfortable and brimming with character and charm.

Casa el Campo is a wonderfully quirky villa set amongst the volcanoes surrounding Lajares. It features lots of the owners personal curios from his obviously extensive world travels which really add to the feeling that this is very much a home from home and not a sterile holiday let. When you are there the spacious beautifully laid out grounds make you feel detached from the rest of the world however the villa is actually only a few minutes drive from the lovely village of Lajares, which is well served with good coffee shops , cafes and bars. The outdoor space at Casa el Campo is what really makes it and we particularly enjoyed being able to cook in the open fire pit, very atmospheric with the night sky above, a must if you stay here. Overall highly recommended

Ich bin so froh, das ich diese Oase bei FeWo entdeckt habe. Meine Familie hat es extrem gefallen, wenn wir bloß mehr Zeit gehabt hätten. warm, open space overviewing the "mal pais"

we (2 brothers) had a great stay at the house which easily can accommodate 6 adults. It is very well build with open spaces and an all over good vibe. Having rented other houses around Lajares in the past (also the fancy flat white new ones), I must say that this house stands out with its athmosphere. The kitchen comes very handy and the beds (matrasses) are above average. The housekeeper does a good job having it clean when you move in. The only thing which comes to my mind if I had to criticize anything would be the water pressure in the showers, but it does get you and your wetsuit rinsed off clean after returning from the beach.

Nous avons adoré cette magnifique maison qui portait les empreintes de nos lointains voyages...Fidèle à la description rien ne manquait à notre confort. Le jardin merveilleusement entretenu est sans doute l'un des plus beaux de l'île! Voyageurs qui passés par là respecter ce lieu extraordinaire qui est à préserver absolument. Beautiful, peaceful retreat in an amazing setting

The house is beautiful - we loved all the cool collected items from a lifetime of globe trotting. The veranda is the perfect place to chill out, enjoy the heat, the view of the volcanos, read your book, drink a glass of wine and watch the lizards scamper about! Everything is comfy and spotlessly clean and the house has all you would need (apart from a hairdryer, remember to bring one!) it's so quiet out there, the only sounds are the palms rustling in the wind. The cactus garden is magical too, just a brilliant place. We even used the Canarian BBQ! We will definitely return! Other reviews give conflicting info about how far away it is from Lajares, it is a bit of a trek only 2 mins in a car, but more like 30 mins on foot. The town is lovely though, very laid back. There is a cool little craft market on Saturdays and the hiper Dino supermarket stocked all we needed! We are already planning our return!
