Welcome to The Wicked Whale, a newly renovated beach getaway completed by a renowned, award-winning Design and Build company and featured in Dwell Magazine. Experience luxury living with a quiet, local vibe. This home offers a modern design mixed with coastal charm to redefine what a vacation rental at the beach should be!

Outdoor areas are equipped with amazing features such as a twin, memory foam bed and swing, Screened in porch to enjoy the bay breeze, trex deck with double headed outdoor shower. Inside you will find a gourmet kitchen with brand new black stainless steel appliances, an open- concept living and dining area with a large sectional, electric fireplace, 55 inch TV, and apple TV. Three bedrooms each have their own personality. Enjoy a bunk bed with a queen mattress, a bohemian chic guest room, and a master suite with a king bed, private bathroom, and feature wall.

This quaint neighborhood is perfect for strolls down the street, views of Rehoboth Bay, and is 2 miles from the beach. You can easily navigate downtown Rehoboth Beach to enjoy the restaurants, shopping, and boardwalk.

We will DEFINITELY return next year!!

THIS house was just perfect for our family of 5! The house was clean and neat kitchen well stocked with everything we would need to prepare a few dinners and lunch. I loved the decor just so new and refreshing. We also loved there were beach chairs and the outdoor shower was used every day. Short drive to the beach which we did every single day. Thank you !

Wonderful Stay

We loved our stay at the Wicked Whale. Rick was a wonderful host! The house was beautifully decorated and had every convenience we could need. Great location and short drive to beach with no traffic. We would give the Wicked Whale 5 stars!!!

Relaxation

Lovely, quiet spot. We really enjoyed the front porch , especially during the. one evening of rain. The house was wonderful and well stocked but kitchen knives need to be sharpened. The toilet lid in the hall bath was broken when we arrived. Very small issues. Needless to say i would definitely come again. Thanks for a wonderful week.

First stay at Rehoboth Beach

Great property! All of the renovations and finishes are well done, with comfortable indoor and outdoor living spaces. Location is accessible by short car ride (less than 10 min) to great walking, dining and beach locations. Also walking in the immediate area. Highly recommend and would do again!

Very cute house, great location!

My family and I loved the modern farmhouse with Maryland flair! Design was perfect in every detail, and so fun to stay in for the weekend. Check in was a bit delayed to to cleaning, and there were some leftover building materials and mostly mud leading to the stairs in the front yard; kind of took away from how awesome the house was, but overall we loved it and would recommend!

The perfect modern beach house

Our family absolutely loved the Wicked Whale property. It was the perfect size for our family and it had every accommodation you could imagine. The property has been recently renovated and you could tell the layout and design of the house was well thought out. It is clean, modern and sophisticated yet simple at the same time. There is a no fuss feel about it and that is just want we needed on our beach vacation. We would highly recommend this property. We definitely can't wait to stay there again in the future!
