Gite 2 is a mid terrace gite, one of four attractive stone gites formed from a former barn. Located in a peaceful rural area, surrounded by ancient woodland and farmland. There are many walks and bike rides from the house.

Au Pré Vert has many facilities and activities, all included in the price, to keep people of all ages entertained. There are also lakes and rivers with beaches within a 10 minute drive of the Au Pré Vert offering further options for water fun without any expense. Immerse yourself in the French culture visiting beautiful towns and villages, and exploring the traditional French markets.

Ideally situated for the best attractions of the Dordogne and the Lot regions. Au Pré Vert is 3km from a charming local restaurant, a mini supermarket and a great boulangerie. There is also a popular Pizzeria, selling pizzas, drinks and great salads, within the village, less than 1km away.

It is only 10km from Domme and 20km from Sarlat. There is a range of large supermarkets 10km away in Gourdon, additionally there are super weekly markets held in the surrounding villages selling delicious local produce.

Inside, gite 2 is well equipped with a dishwasher, 2 fridges, a separate freezer, full size oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. Everything you need for a great self-catering holiday, including a barbecue, to make the most of the long summer days outdoors.

Each gite has its personal garden area, with two sun loungers, quality dining furniture, a large parasol, and outdoor sitting furniture under a safari style canopy

There are also large grounds and many on-site activities, including swimming pool, football pitch, badminton and mini tennis court, pitch and putt, large trampoline, swings, slide, sandpit, table tennis, petanque piste and boules. You will find the table football in the cabin. There is a large oak framed garden room ideal for relaxing in the shade, and there is a picnic table with a secondary barbecue in 2 acre garden.

There is an indoor gym/ weights room opposite the gites available for gite guests to use. Guests also have use of a washing machine, irons and ironing boards and plenty of space to hang washing out to dry in the sunshine.

The large grounds have an open outlook, with peaceful areas for relaxing, including hammocks suspended from oak trees in a secluded corner. Adults and children can have many hours of fun and relaxation with the numerous on-site activities. We have a lot of books, dvds, card and board games, and toys such as Lego, Playmobil, toy cars and a wooden train set, for guests to enjoy.

Au Pré Vert is the perfect place for your family holiday, having the ideal mix of personal space, and communal areas.
In total a maximum of 17 guests will be staying at any one time, so there is plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.
