Fishing Creek, Log Cabin & 23 Acres, Backs to National Forest!
Simplemente magnífico! Verdaderamente uno de los tipos! En un arroyo de pesca, con un gran estanque, directamente adyacente al Bosque Nacional en 2 lados. Impresionantes vistas de los picos. Final de la privacidad de la carretera, pero con fácil acceso desde la carretera del condado. Perfecto inicio de sesión en casa y la mayoría de los sueños soñados. Un privilegio para ver!

3 habitaciones más un altillo, 2 baños y una sala de lavandería / barro. La cubierta grande cubierta se envuelve alrededor de 3 lados con impresionantes vistas alrededor.

La puerta cerrada y el largo camino de acceso hacen que se sienta como si estuviera en 500 acres. Observación de vida silvestre (Moose, Mtn. Ovejas, alces, castores y colibríes, raquetas de nieve, senderismo y pesca en el lugar son infinitas. Vistas expansivas en todas las direcciones. La tierra de Pike National Forest al lado tiene fantásticas laderas arboladas, grandes senderos y Elk Habitat de verano, ¡incluso una cascada!

Fácil de alcanzar, a solo 5 millas de la autopista CO 9. 23 millas hasta Breckenridge (aproximadamente 35 minutos) con famosas áreas de esquí y golf. A cuarenta minutos se encuentra Buena Vista con rafting en aguas bravas. Fairplay está justo al lado, con la famosa pesca de truchas, el histórico South Park y todos los servicios que podrías necesitar.

Beautiful piece of property and a cute cabin. Some extra things *could* have been done in cleaning prior to our stay, but overall, a great experience. Very quiet and the hosts are accommodating. Would be honored to visit again some day!!

This is an awesome place to stay. It is very comfortable and nice. We saw moose, elk and deer. The chipmunks are very fun to watch and the birds ate right out of pur hands.

We had a great time at the cabin and appreciated all the amenities, cleanliness, remote location, and cool weather in August. We enjoyed seeing the moose family on multiple occasions and had fun catching and releasing the eager brookies in the pond and stream. Overall a great relaxing stay! Thanks!

Amazing!

I won’t go into great detail, as the endless reviews speak for themselves. I’ll only say that our stay was like visiting a relative. I’ve never stayed in a vacation rental, that was better stocked. Absolutely ANYTHING you might need, seemed to be available, if necessary…. From extra backpacks to bear spray. The only thing I’d suggest is that if you plan to cook in and happen to drive, as we did, I’d bring as much as you could. There are a couple of small grocery stores in town, but the variety is lacking. The larger stores were in Breckenridge and Frisco. Aside from that, the property was great. And though we weren’t lucky to see much wildlife, our 2 doodles loved the long walks, and exploring. Many thanks to Charlie and Monica! They are blessed to have such an amazing slice of heaven.

The photos don't do this place justice. Just an absolutely magical backdrop and property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended to countless friends asking where all of our amazing photos are taken. There were a couple of things that could have sent this place even further over the edge, like a hot tub, but as long as that’s not a deal breaker give this place a shot!!

Wonderful secluded cabin in the woods

Perfect mountain getaway

The property is exactly as described, absolutely beautiful and peaceful! The fishing on the property was excellent, and we really enjoyed spending time outdoors. We chose Colorado as part of our goal to visit all the MLB stadiums, and the drive from Denver to the cabin was easy and incredibly scenic. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this property.

An unforgettable stay!

This place was absolutely amazing—so much wildlife! One evening, a red fox came right up near the cabin, and we even spotted a moose during our stay. I wish I could post videos because I have so many, including one of me sitting on the porch when a hummingbird came right up and poked its little beak through the holes in my Crocs—too funny and so magical!We loved exploring the property and starting our mornings with coffee on the green chairs, soaking in the peace and quiet. The cabin itself was super comfy and cozy—just what we needed.We had such a great time that we even started researching properties in the area! That’s how much we loved it. We’ll definitely be back!

Everything we hoped for and more

Absolutely magical weekend getaway! This mountain cabin in Colorado was everything we hoped for and more. Nestled in a truly remote and peaceful location, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The views were absolutely breathtaking— a mountain stream, snow-capped peaks, and stunning views of the valley, right from the porch. One of the biggest highlights was the incredible wildlife—we were lucky enough to spot moose on several occasions.The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained. Every detail felt thoughtful and intentional, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hosts were exceptional—responsive, kind, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable.If you're looking for a peaceful, scenic retreat with a true Colorado wilderness experience, this place is an absolute gem. Excellent nature experience!

We spent a wonderful stay at Monica’s Cabin. She always was very nice and attended all the answers we had and gave us advice about the zone. The cabin is nested in a remote but amazing landscape yet close to the beautiful town Fairplay. The wilderness surrounds the place and it’s a joy to feel the spring breeze sitting at the porch.Thank you very much to Monica for sharing that little piece of paradise.

Just Wow

We came into town early for a wedding in Denver and spent a few nights before here before heading down. This is the quintessential Colorado mountain home you imagined. High elevation in between two higher peaks with a trout stream and pond running through the property. Quiet and secluded but not hard to get to at all. The stars were amazing and even loved the early 8" of snowfall that quickly went away. About the only downside was we did not see the Moose that everyone else wrote about. We did many hikes around Hosier Pass, walked around Breckenridge and went horseback riding in the changing Aspens down towards Fairplay.

Moose Alert

We had an absolute wonderful stay at this house. Everything is as advertised. It is in a remote and quiet place in the wilderness. Moose sightings everyday sometimes within 50-60 feet of the house or driveway. If you want to get away from the noise and traffic of the city, this is a place you should consider for sure.

Amazing Location

My family and I spent the long Labor Day weekend at this fantastic log cabin in the mountains. What a beautiful and relaxing location. I could sit all day just looking out at the mountains and listening to the babbling Sacramento Creek that cuts through the property. The complete darkness of the night offers incredible star viewing.

A True Mountain Cabin

Amazing

This home exceeds expectations. The setting is incredible in both beauty and solitude. We saw over 40 different types of wildflowers when we hiked up the ridge and we enjoyed amazing views of the surrounding peaks. The house is well appointed and supplies. It a great getaway.

While visiting family in the Breckenridge, CO area for summer and winter vacations, we fell in love with the area and decided it would be a wonderful place to own a second home. When we found this cabin, we knew it was meant to be. We were so mesmerized by the property and cabin, that we lost track of time and missed our plane home. We love how you feel when you're at the cabin. You're away from all the stresses of daily life without being isolated. The surrounding mountains and creeks and pond make it special. It's a place for us to reconnect with family and nature. And it doesn't hurt that there are so many fun things to do nearby!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Some of our favorite activities include packing a lunch and hiking right out the door and up Mt. Sherman. It is known as one of the easiest fourteeners and the views are amazing. There are various picnic tables and chairs and on a clear night, you can see the Milkyway. Horseback riding, ATV rentals, and white water rafting are all close by. Fishing and gold panning in the creeks and pond are a favorite with the men and kids. And there's a grocery store 10 minutes away with everything you'll need for the pantry and cooking on the grill. Our favorite places to eat in Fairplay are the Brown Burro Cafe (Delicious Mexican), cheese steaks at the Dinky Dairy and everything at Millonzi's. And let us not forget Breckenridge - 23 miles from the cabin door - has everything a resort town can offer. Skiing, golfing, biking, ice skating, shopping, restaurants, tours and events.... We love it all and think you will too!
