Bienvenido a Base Camp ... ¡donde comienzan todas tus expediciones de montaña! Ya sea que esté haciendo senderismo, ciclismo, esquí, pesca o cualquiera de las cientos de actividades que Colorado tiene para ofrecer, ¡Base Camp tiene todo lo que necesita para que su aventura sea cómoda y memorable!

Su hogar lejos del hogar está a solo 30-45 minutos de la histórica ciudad de Breckenridge, y a 52 minutos de Buena Vista. ¡Guías al aire libre para numerosas actividades y cuatro estaciones de esquí más en 60 minutos!

Esta casa de 3 dormitorios y 2 baños tiene camas para dormir cómodamente 8 huéspedes. Los huéspedes adicionales se pueden acomodar con el uso de un colchón de aire ajustable o un sofá. Si viaja con un pequeño, ¡lo tenemos cubierto! Tenemos un Pack-n-Play, puerta para bebés, bañera para bebés, hamaca y trona para su uso. Y no te preocupes, no nos olvidamos de tu bebé de piel. Se incluye una cama para perros y cuencos de comida / agua.

El área de cocina y sala de estar de concepto abierto permite una fácil interacción entre amigos y familiares. La sala de estar contiene una chimenea de gas y televisión para disfrutar mientras se relaja en el sofá. La cocina está completamente equipada con todos sus utensilios y electrodomésticos de cocina, y café y té gratuitos.

La sala de grabación de la planta baja ofrece espacio adicional para extenderse. Descansa en el gran sofá seccional y mira una película, o desafía a tu familia / amigos a jugar al futbolín o un juego de mesa.

El cuarto de lavado con lavadora / secadora estándar y detergente de cortesía permite a los huéspedes empacar luz y ahorrar espacio para recuerdos.

Las 2 cubiertas permiten a los huéspedes aprovechar al máximo este lote de montaña de 1 acre rodeado de pinos de posada. Disfrute de la observación de aves y las vistas de la cordillera en la cubierta superior, y relájese en el nuevo jacuzzi para 7 personas ubicado en la cubierta inferior. Everything was fantastic. Our host was very easy to work with and also left us a lovely bottle of wine to enjoy. There was everything we could ask for in the house and having little kids with us this was definitely the perfect set up.

Wonderful weekend getaway

My kids (20, 18, and 14) and I were looking for a relaxing long weekend getaway where we could bring our dog, and this place was perfect! We loved unwinding in the hot tub each night, tackling puzzles, playing card games, hiking, and hunting for the hidden gnomes. The house is clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you could possibly need—a true home away from home. I especially enjoyed watching the birds at the feeder. Just a tip: don’t forget your snow boots! Be sure to stock up at the market on your way in, then settle in and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Perfect mountain getaway!

We enjoyed our stay a lot! The cabin is tucked in the mountains just outside of Fairplay and close to restaurants and grocery shopping in town. Breckenridge is only about 40 mins away. Since the cabin is in the mountains up, you do need a vehicle with good tires - the roads were icy and snow packed during our December stay. We did use our chains once after a snow shower for more traction on the county roads leading up to the cabin - the hosts have chains in the garage if you didn't bring any. Most days, however, we were able to get up the mountain just fine with the AWD and snow tires. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes and utensils. There is also plenty of paper goods and shampoo/soap. The children enjoyed playing with the snow toys. Having access to the garage was a huge plus - it kept the ice and snow off of our vehicle. Thank you for a great stay! If we return to the area, we would be sure to stay at Base Camp again.

Cozy and wonderful house

Absolutely loved our stay at Ana’s home over thanksgiving! We were lucky to get snow, which made it even more magical. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner. The hot tub was incredibly clean as well as the whole house. Our family had a wonderful time. Thanks, Ana!

Great Family Getaway

Our family needed a change of scenery and needed to escape the Texas heat. We found this cabin to be the perfect place to take in fresh mountain air and enjoy the views. My kids loved the arcade games and the hot tub. My husband and I loved having coffee on the patio in the mornings. There was something for everyone. We enjoyed our time. Thanks for the memories!

Mountain Escape

Other than the night we had no power for about 5 hours, meaning also no running water, everything was great. And it was a wonderfully welcome place to have our dogs with us. We enjoyed the views from the deck, and at 11,000”, it we even cool in August.

Great Getaway!

Fabulous property and perfect getaway for our family! We took our kids (4 and 10) and they had a blast with the arcade games and finding the gnomes! We also took our dog who had a great time too! FairPlay is super dog friendly and we took him everywhere with us. The house had everything we needed and more.

Pure Beauty

The property is full of beautiful views! The chalet is very clean and literally has everything you need. My 9 year old son loved the arcade and hot tub, dogs loved exploring around the property, and my husband and I were able to sit back and relax. Breckenridge is a drive a way, FairPlay and Alma as well. All with a beautiful scenic drive. We would definitely stay here again!

Home sweet home

My family loves to visit Colorado in the summer and this home was perfect for us. It is one of the cleanest homes we have stayed in and has everything needed for a perfect stay. My son loved the arcade area and everything about the home was welcoming. Definitely will keep it in mind for our next visit to Fairplay.

Off the grid

The house was amazing. Perfect floor plan and amenities. You felt like you were out in the wilderness with no one around. The 2-3 mile drive down the dirt/snowy road was amazing. Ensure you have 4WD or chains in the winter to make the drive to the house. Place was clean, exactly how the photos portrayed the home. Will definitely stay here again. 5 stars!

Family Weekend Getaway!

Cabin was perfect we had 3 adults and 3 kids ages 7-16. This cabin has everything you needed, was clean and in a beautiful setting. Patios, hot tub and grill outside were great for the adults and the kids loved the arcade games. Great weekend away, the town is about 15-20 mins away bring your snacks with you. Highly recommend!

Great time in base camp

We had a great time! The base camp is located in a very peaceful area with very friendly wild life nearby. Internet is strong enough for working remotely and lots of stuff to do for family within 30-60 minutes of driving (hiking, National park, gold panning, fishing). Thank you for a wonderful adventure!

Beautiful mountain cabin

My family and I really enjoyed our stay, it had all of the necessary amenities we needed for cooling, but also extras we were pleasantly surprised by such as all of the baby and dog gadgets. The hot tub was amazing, large enough to fit 6 people, and you can't beat the views overlooking the valley! Overall it was an awesome experience and will definitely keep it in mind for future trips.

Hiking vacation

we loved the house and the property. The 6 hidden gnomes was such a fun way to get introduced to the property! We used the hot tub every night and enjoyed a perfect view of the moon while soaking. The house had every possible amenity. It was so nicely decorated and comfortable. We immediately felt at home and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Superior Host and Property

This cabin was amazing. Located in a beautiful mountain forest with breathtaking views and a peaceful serenity. But even as great as the property was, it didn’t compare to how wonderful the host and experience was. The home was well stocked, extremely clean, and came with a very detailed manual that explained important facts about the home and gave lots of highlights about the local area. Communication with the host was timely, friendly, and filled with a welcoming warmth that made my family excited to spend time in their home. The entire experience was top quality and we would highly recommend this property to everyone.

An amazing Getaway!

This property was super comfortable and such a fun place to stay! We saw lots of wildlife and loved hiking the 13’r that started right up the road! This host had EVERYTHING you could think of in the home!
