Lovely quite home

Home was as advertised. Clean, well supplied kitchen, in a quite neighborhood. Easy access to stores and restaurants. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Just what I needed.

I needed to spend some extended time with my daughter who has some serious medical issues. This house was perfect, and Teresa was very compassionate and helpful. The property is beautiful, and the neighborhood is quiet.

Lorraine's home is absolutely fantastic if you are looking for a place to stay with family or just looking for a place to get away from the chaos. On multiple occasions we say deer in the area. Every morning and night you can hear seals from the inlet. The house is fully stocked and a pleasant stay

We had a great Christmas in Port Orchard! This home a was perfect fit for our family of four.

We had a lovely time here. We saw 2 deer in the yard on Christmas Day! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our holiday feast. The location is perfect: a short ferry ride to Seattle, a quick walk to the waterfront, and an easy drive to hikes/outdoor exploring. Comfy, cozy and relaxing

We were very comfortable staying here! The home has that great feel of visiting family...so cozy and homey! I love that it's an older home with so much character. The home had everything we needed for our 20-day stay. It's very quiet and peaceful, and the neighbors are nice. It was an easy walk to the Port Orchard farmers market on Saturdays. Hosts were wonderfully responsive.

I had high hopes for this vacation rental but unfortunately learned of the flea infestation after we brought them home! This home is located near the Court house which also is a jail. We heard gun shots in the evening which was a bit unsettling.

Sorry to hear your dog had fleas. Thanks for letting me know. I cleaned all the carpets and bedding and fumigated the house just in case. As for the sound of a gunshot, that’s definitely news to me! I’ve always felt very peaceful and safe there. The location couldn’t be better for help if it’s ever needed. And, I’ve always appreciated being within walking distance of the town center and waterfront.

Homey, in a great location.

Our host, Lorraine, was most gracious and accommodating. The property is well outfitted for our month long stay. The neighborhood is conveniently located, 4 blocks from downtown Port Orchard. By the way, try the Homemade Cafe for lunch or breakfast, two blocks down the hill. Enjoy the sounds of seals barking in the harbor. The king sized bed in the master was quite comfortable and the neighbors were most friendly. Say hi to Sam And Amber next door.

The best place for long court case

Lorraine and partner were amazing hosts. Very flexible and attended quickly when furnace went out. Yard was meticulous and maintained weekly. A quiet and restful place to recuperate after day in court. Would definately recommend this property and owner!!

This was a great place to stay. Beautiful home, nice front yard and quiet neighborhood. Inside the house was very clean and comfortable. Lots of room in the bedrooms. Nice kitchen and dining area. The bathroom was big and very clean. Had a hard time getting the TV to work, but really did not have time to watch it anyway.

Awesome getaway

The house is what was described and more. Upon entering after crossing the well kept and beautifully landscaped yard and stamped walkway we were greeted by an awesome floor. I really liked this house and it’s location. The only thing that would have made our stay perfect would have been a second bathroom. But we would definitely return again regardless
