OUTDOOR LIVING - Superb outdoor living with a huge furnished deck and BBQ overlooking the beach.

INSIDE LIVING - Nautical themed open plan with a Cape Cod feel. Glass doors open the living area onto the deck. Onkyo-Bose home theatre, 60” 4K TV, Sky TV, AppleTV, music streaming and outdoor speakers. DVD library, books and games. Free high speed fibre WiFi covers the property. Double glazed and air conditioned for year round comfort in the winterless North.

BEDROOMS - the King master bedroom with ensuite bathroom is on a secluded wing with TV, sea views and outdoor access. The other two main house bedrooms feature a queen and king single. At the rear is a large family bedroom that doubles as a media room and teen escape. This has a king and 3 king singles with TV,, DVD, fridge, AC and sound system.,

KITCHEN - Fully equipped with granite bench tops, gas hobs, ice maker, Nespresso machine and dual dish drawer dishwashers.

DINING - breakfast bar, seating for 6-8 inside plus a large outdoor table

RENOWNED BOATING LOCATION - boat ramp and guest mooring at the closest launching point to the Islands and renowned fishing grounds. Off street trailer parking, filleting station, wash down and bait fridge. World class golf nearby.

CHILDREN - No road between the house and beach. Safe with beach toys, trampoline and lots to do within sight of the house. Two cots and infant equipment. Washer and dryer.

Rates based on the maximum number of overnight guests during the stay. Linen, towels, consumables and post stay cleaning provided. Children under 2 free of charge if not using a bed. Such a Relaxing beach house with great deck and amazing views and sunsets. Wonderful place for wee children. The best experience was listening to the Kiwi calling at night and having the opportunity to see one in the wild for the first time. Our group of 10 friends had the best long weekend at this gorgeous place. The outlook and proximity to beach was fantastic and access to kayaks etc. Beds super comfy and house set up so well. Great spot!

We had a lovely holiday at this beautiful beach! It was awesome having kayaks for the 3 of us to use, and also the dinghy to go out fishing in. The house was a comfortable place to laze around in during bad weather, but it was great to be able to look out at the beach and sea views. It was then easy to be able to go out when the weather was good. Thanks Clive!

Amazing Stay

We had a fantastic stay at Tapeka Del Mar. The house was well set up to accommodate our group of 11. The deck is fantastic - we pretty much ate outside every night we were there. The view from the dining table is spectacular. So nice to be able to just walk down to the beach in under a minute and jump in the lovely safe bay. The swimming platform in the bay was a hit with the kids. Although there has been a house added to the front section which takes away a bit of the view - the design of the front house is such that there is no privacy issues. There is still direct beachfront access and a lovely view. Thanks for having us to stay.

A lovely bach in one of the best locations on the planet. Walk a few metres to the beach and a bit further to the boat ramp. A genuinely special spot.

This is your opportunity to live the ultimate Kiwi beach holiday home dream. With superb views, no road or sand dunes to cross, private beach access and all tide swimming this is something unique. The Holiday Home includes quality linen and everything you are likely to need for self catering or entertaining. This is also a perfect home away from home and an ideal base to explore the Bay of Islands and Northland region. Another bonus is that the tide does not go out far and the water gets deep quickly, even at low tide. With 4 bedrooms, spacious living areas and expansive grounds, invite the extended family or share with friends for less per head than the cost of separate accommodations. Quiet and private yet shops, restaurants, vineyards, boat trips and attractions are only two minutes away in historic Russell village.

CAPACITY - the extended family can all stay together or share with friends as the 4 bedrooms and 9 beds can comfortably sleep up to 13 guests. Add neighbouring Tapeka Bach and accommodate 16.

LOCATION - being so close to Russell this is the perfect base to explore the Bay of Islands and the entire Northland region. There are numerous attractions from historic places to boat trips, fishing and golf.

FULLY EQUIPPED - Tapeka del Mar is furnished and equipped to a high standard. There is a granite kitchen with oven, gas hobs and ice maker - or use the outdoor BBQ. Laundry and all the home comforts included. Towels and linens provided ready to walk in and enjoy. Free WiFi, satellite TV channels, home theatre system, it's all here.

BOATING - 5 kayaks and a dinghy (row boat) are included with life jackets provided. If bringing a boat there is a guest mooring, boat ramp, off street trailer parking, bait freezer, filleting station for the days catch and wash down facilities. Tapeka is the closest launching ramp to the many Islands and renowned fishing spots in the bay.

We can only take one booking for each night so book early.
