Communication from host was excellent. House was exactly as described and shown in pictures. Great size property for large family group. Awesome kitchen table to fit everyone and nice large lounge with warm and cosy log burner. We had an awesome time staying here. Nice and close to Whakapapa ski field. Would definitely stay again.

Hi JulieIt was great stay at Haven. Kitchen was clean and neat, we were preserving water so dishwasher was not used.Rooms were abit disorganized but we managed well with our own beddings apart from room heaters which got off in the middle of the night due to fuse breaker turning off. We didn't use Extra mattress and blankets kept near fireplace. Fireplace was 10/10. Generally house was very spacious, kids also enjoyed.

We absolutely loved staying at Haven! What an amazing little place tucked away in what is literally nature's haven! It was such a beautiful experience for a family like ours with a small budget looking to experience a bit of country life, cooking with the Shacklock 501 vintage oven, teaching the kids to chop firewood, and firing up the fireplace for a warm, cozy and homely vibe! It was perfect, thank you Julie x

We really enjoyed our stay at the Haven. It was very warm with the wood burner and heaters in each bedroom. Big dining table and drying room were great benefits. Kids enjoyed variety of puzzles, board games and dress ups.

kept us warm and relaxed through out our stay. place is huge with plenty of bed rooms, kitchen complete with utensils plus heaps of firewood in the main living area and outside the house.photos posted on company website made property a bit old but its not outdated to see personally. we’ll surely come back again for the next snow adventure. thank you for this place

Family snow trip

This property was exactly what we wanted and needed, perfect location, pricing and a huge house that wasnt too flash to accomadate the kids,, fireplace was brilliant, love the dinning table for us all to be seated at. Absolutely perfect for us just the beds could be up graded, there a bit worn.

Great stay on our ski holidays!

Great bach that comfortably fits many people. Good to have two bathrooms, with one having toilet and shower split. Warm in winter! Plenty of toys and books for kids.

A harbour of serenity and activity

A great place to escape to in a beautiful and untouched landscape. The house is a great base for all manner of activities allbeit just admiring Gods creation. Well priced for families i should add. 😃
