Plum Tree Cottage is the place to relax and unwind. It is a private semi rural location in a peaceful setting surrounded by trees on a five acre block. Indulge in the large hydrotherapy spa pool for your exclusive use on the deck. A beautiful elevated outlook overlooking surrounding bush and the winding estuary view is stunning which can also be enjoyed while lying in bed. Quality linen is provided so just pack a bag. Located 10 minutes drive from the beautiful Surf Beach, Village Markets and vibrant Cafe/Resturant scene. Unlimited Wifi, Smart TV, free Netflix Movies included. There is a small kitchenette with two electric elements, microwave and fridge freezer and a BBQ on the deck. The owners house is on the property but is separate and private from the cottage accommodation. The cottage is accessed by it's own separate driveway. One small breed dog is allowed by prior arrangement with the owner. Come and enjoy all that's waiting for you ........

My dog Saffron and I stayed here for 6 nights and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The cottage was impeccable, spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The spa pool was a real highlight and incredibly relaxing. Despite some terrible weather during our visit, the hosts were exceptionally kind and generous, offering us extra night free of charge, which truly showed how much they care about their guests. This is the perfect place for a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing break away from the busy pace of everyday life. Highly recommend and would love to return.

Perfect getaway

Pam's place is the perfect getaway for a little holiday. Its cozy and well equipped with the spa pool set at the perfect temperature. The views are lovely and it so so peaceful. Surrounded by nature, we even had Rosellas join us for breakfast. Pam is super responsive and accommodating, and the welcome gift basket was the nicest touch to our arrival. We liked it there so much so we had to stay an extra night! Highly recommend this place if you need a little relaxing holiday with the most amazing host.

Peaceful private cottage

Beautiful Serene and private cottage, immaculately clean, all the amenities you need and more, they have truly thought of everything. The bed and linen top quality and very comfy. All the little extras, the gift basket, eggs, cheese etc were amazing and truly appreciated.

Paradise at Plum Cottage

A little slice of paradise. The cottage is beautifully styled and very well appointed with everything you could want. Gorgeous welcome from the hosts including a welcome basket with everything from wine, cheese and crackers and snacks to free range eggs from their hens. A perfect 10 out of 10 and I will definitely return and highly recommend for a couple's romantic retreat or like me a little mini break away from life. I personally have never enjoyed a stay anywhere as much as I did at Plum Cottage.

A hidden gem!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cottage nestled in the bush, and we can't recommend it enough! Pam was a fantastic host. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with a basket filled with goodies, setting the perfect tone for our getaway.Each morning, we enjoyed fresh free-range eggs from the property, fresh herbs from the garden which added a delicious touch to our breakfasts and salads at dinner time.One of the highlights was definitely the hydrotherapy spa, which was the ultimate indulgence! Soaking in the warm waters while listening to the birds was a blissful experience.With all the amenities you could need and the tranquility of the bush surrounding you, this cottage is the perfect retreat for anyone looking to escape and unwind. We are already planning our return!

Peace and tranquillity...

Plum Tree Cottage will exceed any reasonable expectations.It is not large, but it is very well laid out, and was comfortable for the two of us and a small dog, with plenty of space and storage for our 7 day stay. This is more than an an average batch in the bush. The quality of the building, fit-out, facilities, maintenance, and attention to smallest details was impeccable, and the ever changing view across the manuka and wetlands to the Mangawhai estuary and hills beyond made the stay special. The special touches like the hotel quality linen and towels, infinity hot water and high-spec shower, the wide and plentiful selection of teas and coffee options and much more were much appreciated. The quality spa pool is like new, perfectly maintained and ready to use any time. Our hosts were very respectful of our privacy, helpful and friendly, and always available by phone for questions or recommendations.We highly recommend Plum Tree Cottage - whatever you might expect, you will be happily surprised.
