About Linda Trammell

I always dreamed of owning a B&B, and love to create comfortable living space. Sharing the casita with visitors is a dream come true for me.

Linda Trammell purchased this cottage in 2000

Why Linda Trammell chose Canyon Country & Northeast

Location, location, location! I love this area near Red Rock Crossing and the creek. When I used to vacation in Sedona it was the only area I would has such a peaceful country feel, yet close to town. When I at last bought the house, it's history and unique charm won me over from the 'cookiecutters'

What makes this cottage unique

This property is the most nurturing, peaceful place I've ever lived. It has a rural feeling, and is great for nature-lovers. The lane is so feels like a perpetual summer vacation, as I walk down the neighborhood trail to the creek, greeting the neighbors.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Wow, just what the doctor ordered. Bill and I have had a rough year but sharing the past few days in the casita with our kids (dogs) has renewed our spirits. Hiking all over, close-by with them, we went to top of Cathedral Rock (quite a work-out but we live to talk about it! Swimming with the dogs at Red Rock Crossing etc. We could have just stayed "put" and been very happy.

We took your dining suggestions: Elote (fantastic, authentic), Pisa Lisa (best pizza we've had in years), Wildflower Baking Co. (bought too much bread, it was so delicious)

Oh, I almost forgot the shopping...We love thrift and consignment stores and Basha's Shopping Center had fabulous women's consignment, furniture consignment and a great Goodwill.

The casita had everything we needed for us and the dogs. The dog treats were so thoughtful and special after a long trip. Loved the music selections and inspirational readings, especially "Course in Miracles"

Thank You,

Excellent accommodations, wonderful location

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Linda's Casita. It was a very quiet and serene area, in the shadow of Cathedral Rock. We felt it was perfectly located to everything we did in the Sedona area yet apart enough for tranquility. We loved the private garden and hot tub an the Casita itself was beautiful. We recommend this property highly for a stay in the Sedona area.

Adorable comfortable home

  • 5 of 5

Nice, clean fully equipped home. Linda was a gracious hostess and we had a very comfortable stay. Nice hiking right out front door or a short drive away.

Thanks for everything Linda!

We Found Serenity

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed pleasant, serene privacy just outside of Sedona. The inside was everything we needed for an extended weekend, and the patio and backyard garden were a delightful place to begin our days. In town, we enjoyed dinner at the Golden Goose and Picazzo. We griiled one night at the Casita. On our last night, we indulged in home made pie with home made ice cream at the Black Cow. Upon packing to leave, we feel like we are leaving a friend's house.

Convenient for Exploring West Sedona

  • 4 of 5

The casita is in a quiet location, away from the busy core of town, for those wanting easy access to the hiking trails and the spectacular scenery of west Sedona. The casita is located off the Upper Red Rock Loop so the drive back 'home' was amazing! There are three excellent trail heads, Scorpion, Pyramid and Old Post, a few minutes walk from the front door.

We stayed for a month in winter so the propane heat in the living room and electric heater in the bedroom dealt with the cool morning and evening temperatures. Our winter stay also meant there was limited natural light some days so the casita is somewhat dark and shaded.

The kitchen is well equipped, linens are fresh, appliances clean. The pictures of the interior do not reflect the changes and updates that Linda has made. She also provided some convenient extras in the kitchen and the bathroom that added to making our stay comfortable.

Linda was very professional and fair in working with us when our initial plans to come to Sedona had to be rearranged. That was very much appreciated!

Gem of a Casita!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Linda's Casita for six (6) days and wished we could stay! It was peaceful, stocked with anything you could want, good wifi, even a landline phone, nice shower with good water pressure, great little private backyard garden, nice TV. She even welcomed our dog with special treats and sheet to put on the couch if the dog wanted to lay on the couch!

Location is a little out of town, near Cathedral Rock. You can walk to Cathedral Rock, go to the vortex area or picnic in that park. Drive to the Casita was beautiful; most gorgeous views of Cathedral Rock and the other mountains! There are a couple hiking areas within walking distance from the Casita.

Lots of material was supplied about restaurants, hiking, things to do in the area. We especially enjoyed a Pink Jeep tour to the Honanki Ruins. Then there was the "white knuckle" ride from Prescott over the mountain, through Jerome, back to Sedona! Beautiful though!

Linda thoughtfully has provided so many amenities and made sure we were comfortable. I highly recommend this Casita!

Peaceful Casista

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had a lovely stay in Linda's Casita. The location was just what we hoped for...quiet and peaceful. The kitchen invited us to prepare our own meals and we enjoyed our short walk to the perfect view of Cathedral Rock. And, Linda was the perfect hostess wanting everything to be perfect for us.
