Tarawera Trout Woods is a popular perfectly positioned lakeside holiday house. It is situated on a beautiful part of the lake. This property also features on my 2 Lakes Holiday Rental site if your preference is to deal directly without fees. The magical view facing to Lake Tarawera can be seen from many of the rooms. The North facing deck with the BBQ, is great for social gatherings or enjoying an evening drink.

The lake edge walking track is easily accessible in both directions and the lawn is great for picnics and ball games.

The large jetty can handle multiple boats and the water is well protected from prevailing
South Easterlies, Southerlies and South Westerly winds. Fishing from the jetty can be quite productive when using the right technique.

Tarawera Trout Woods is suitable for two families holidaying together or 4 couples. It is also suitable for corporate team building events.

The 2 bedrooms upstairs are accessible by outside stairs. The lounge room has a wood burning fire for chilly winters and the bedrooms have oil heaters for cold weather. A TV and DVD player are supplied. A landline telephone for local calls only, and ADSL broadband is provided. There is limited mobile phone reception in certain parts of Tarawera.

The stainless steel kitchen is well equipped and has a magnificent view of the lake. The lovely Lockwood signature stained exposed pine is evident throughout the house.

ALL CARE TO BE OBSERVED WHEN USING THE KAYAKS AND CORRECTLY SIZED LIFE JACKETS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.

PETS MUST STAY OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE ON THE DECK AREA.

NO TENTS PITCHED ON THE LAWN OR MOTORHOMES PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY.
