STAY at Paua Point, Text 0272080026, a 4 min drive past unique Ngawai Fishing Village, and visit NZ's Palliser Bay, the most southern point in the North Island , and a Dark Sky Reserve. Wild and Wonderful! A modern 3 bedroomed house, with all the comforts of home, fabulous kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, Sky TV and a second Freeview TV in the Master bedroom. DVD, i-pod and HiFi, Wii and board games if weather not so favourable, and of course, Wifi! - Land line, as cell coverage is not consistent. Nice and warm with an electric heater which looks just like a log fire! Very cozy. BBQ. Electric blankets. Plenty of duvets and pillows . Please don't forget to bring towels, pillow cases, and sleeping bags, or sheets, as linen is not included in the tariff. Cleaning is also not included in the tariff, so the house needs to be left as found please.

Take a short drive or walk to the Seal Colony or to the Light House and climb the 250 odd steps for amazing views.

Surfcasting just out the door, diving and paua gathering - or hunting and walking - plenty to do or just simply chill out.
Lake Ferry is 35 min drive for a restaurant meal or 35 min drive to Pirinoa - the nearest store. Martinborough's Vineyards and restaurants an hours drive away.
Flat rate of $175 for first couple per night, $60 for each extra adult and $30 per child under 16, per night. You may check-in at 2.00pm (unless otherwise arranged) and check-out at 12.00 please (again, unless arranged prior)

Caravan is basic, but provides an extra queen bed and a single, if you need them. Comfortable with electrics. Next door to 2nd bathroom as above) A garage with a pool table , (plus 2 sets of bunks and a futon couch, for big booking if you are prepared to “rough it” ) is available for your use .A dog is welcome, but only outside, unless it has it's own bed!
