About Holiday Nelson
We are professional property managers - looking after visitors to Nelson is what we do :-) We have a passion for the Nelson lifestyle and take great enjoyment from sharing the best of this experience with visitors to our region Like you, we love to travel and experience places first hand and we appreciate the value of having personal space, privacy and a comfortable retreat from the busyness of traveling each day. We also know that in order to really make the most of your travels, you need more than just a roof over your head. This is where we come in… We have partnered with homeowners throughout our beautiful region, creating a hand-picked portfolio of very special homes that we offer and look after. These are homes we’d love to call home or holiday home ourselves, homes we are proud to offer to you for your stay in our region. When you book with us, you have our assurance that the homes will be as described and photographed and we’ll be there to provide you with all the support you need prior to and during your stay. Hoping to host you soon, Jarrod and Peta-Jane, Holiday Nelson

Great little Bach in a lovely location
Excellent location. Had everything we needed.
Would have been nice if the lawns had been mowed before we got there instead of on the 2nd to last day of our 10 day stay but this was a small issue. The previous occupants had left their rubbish out on the berm in the incorrect council rubbish bag; however the property manager did change it to the correct rubbish bag but didn't take it away so there was smelly rubbish out the front of the property until rubbish day.
Would definitely stay at this Bach again.

The location is really really nice, with the beach across the road, a golf course nearby, and shops, vineyards and orchards all just a few minutes drive away. And that's before getting to Mapua. The house is a pretty traditional kiwi bach complete with '70s decor. Don't come here for glamour and luxury. It was a bit tight for the seven of us, but fine for a smaller group.

The Nelson region is known for its year-round sunshine, golden beaches, national parks, boutique wineries, micro breweries and a large creative community of working artists.
Kina Cottage is only a short drive to Motueka (15 mins), Kaiteriteri (30 mins), the Abel Tasman Coast Track (36 mins - New Zealand’s most popular track, a coastal wonderland of sea, sky, rocky headlands and bright golden beaches) and the Heaphy Track (New Zealand’s longest track).
It will take you about 15 minutes to drive to Mapua Wharf, its cafes, art galeries and restaurants where a ferry crosses every 30 mins to Rabbit Island (one of the most beautiful beaches in the area).
Nelson (40 mins drive) attractions and activities offer a great range of adventurous outdoor activities including, scenic cruises, art attractions, canoeing & kayaking, horse riding, scenic flights, canyoning and much more—you name it, you can do it!
Add to this locally grown produce, freshly caught seafood, great markets on Wednesday and Saturday, historical streetscapes and waterfront restaurants and you'll see that it offers a thoroughly pleasurable base for your holiday break!
