The Space:
Maui Villa is your ultimate tropical getaway, with pool and beach access, in the Marbella Club community, located within the Palmas del Mar Beach Resort! This charming 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and tropical beauty, ideal for a relaxing vacation. Our guests can enjoy beautiful resort views from two outdoor terraces. This is the perfect beach retreat for up to 4 guests.

This villa offers AC throughout the entire property and has a washer & dryer, a great amenity for a longer stay.

IMPORTANT ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: This apartment is located on the second floor. The elevator of the building is still out of service and the hope is that it will be fixed by the end of July. Please take this note into consideration before booking the unit. Until further notice, the elevator amenity IS NOT selected/included in the listing.

LIVING AREAS

Step into a bright and airy living space with windows throughout that showcase the beautiful tropical surroundings and provide tons of natural light. The living room features a flat-screen TV and a comfortable sofa, perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach. Step out onto one of the two terraces, furnished with cozy outdoor furnishing, to relax and enjoy the serene views.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

The master bedroom is a tranquil haven with a king-sized bed, beautiful views, an ensuite bathroom, a walk-in closet, and access to the terrace. The second bedroom is equipped with a full-sized bed and an armoire. Both bedrooms are designed to provide a restful night's sleep for all guests, offering blackout curtains and fresh linens.

PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):

We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.

KITCHEN

The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances, including a toaster, coffee maker, microwave, full-size fridge with freezer, oven, and a 4-burner stovetop. With ample counter space and seating for two, the kitchen is perfect for preparing meals and socializing. Adjacent to the kitchen is a round dining table with four chairs, creating a cozy dining area for enjoying meals with family and friends. The kitchen is fully supplied and equipped with all the dinnerware and cooking ware needed for an extended stay. West Indies Vacation Rentals always ensures that guests have fresh dish soap and dish sponges for their stay.

GETTING AROUND

You will need to rent a car while staying at Maui Villa to move in and out of the resort. There are also many activities within a 30-minute drive, which you will not want to miss out on. The villa includes two parking spaces. Ubers and taxis are not available in this area. Maui Villa is about an hour from the San Juan airport.

LOCATION

Maui Villa enjoys one of the most coveted locations within Palmas del Mar, Puerto Rico. Guests can walk to the beach and the community pool. The rest of Palmas del Mar's amenities are easily accessible by Golf Cart, which can be rented at Palmas del Mar. These include golf, tennis, a wide array of dining options, and various access points to the mile-long beach, marina, surfing, and mountain biking.

There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:

Golf at one of Palmas del Mar's two 18-hole Golf Courses. Tee times can be booked over the phone.

Tennis at the Palmas del Mar Athletic Club with 20 courts that include artificial grass, Har-Tru Clay, and hard courts.

Lunch or dinner at La Pescaderia, an oceanfront restaurant by the marina with some of the best seafood on the island.

Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 40-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship.

Chill at the beach! It is within walking distance, is a mile-long, and has a great beachfront grill!

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase. Disclaimer: we are not associated with any travel insurance companies.

AMENITIES

West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.
West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, and 1 dish sponge. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.

HOUSE RULES

Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
Check-out time is at 11:00 am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
Building quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please keep noise levels down during these hours out of respect to the neighbors.
The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 4 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged.
Subletting not allowed

We will share recommendations on things to do and places to eat prior to your arrival and we are available to provide suggestions for any other activities you may be interested in doing during your trip. Upon entering Palmer’s demo, it is absolutely breathtaking. The Maui Villa was very clean upon entering and had all your amenities that you needed within your room. Is a few little things that I would like to add here for others to know. The ocean that they say you can see from your room you can’t. The ocean is kind of useless because it is a rip current area. It is often at times very windy outside. The security at this place is very high standard, which made me feel very good when sleeping at night. The beds were comfortable the linens were brand new. The balconies were nice. However, there is a smell when you enter. This particular rental smelled musty, moldy. The showers don’t have doors so the water goes everywhere and there’s absolutely no pressure. There’s a few restaurants around that would be more than happy to serve you some good food. The prices are very high within this area and if there’s anything that you want outside of Palmas de mar you have to go into town which is about 15 minutes down the road. They have every fast food joint in store. You could possibly need in town Humacao! This is a very luxury area with a giant golf course this is for people who like to golf. Other than that, there’s not much else to do.
