About this property

This stunning new home is situated right next to the popular surfing beach and coastal walkway. You will be staying in the self contained ground floor unit that has its own private entrance, The amazing Rewa Rewa bridge and Te Henui walkway are also short walks away. While the unit does not have sea views, the beach is just 100 metres from your door. Less than 5 mins by car into town make this a prime location to enjoy your holiday.
The unit itself is warm and comfortable with a king sized bed in a separate bedroom and a double and single fold out couch in the lounge. Full cooking facilities are available with quality appliances. The oversized bathroom is connected to both lounge and bedroom and the whole unit is wheelchair friendly. A lovely private sunny deck is just the place to finish off the day.

Lovely and comfortable break away

We thoroughly enjoyed our wonderful stay at this oasis in New Plymouth. Our host was really accommodating to our unfortunate change of plans. Thoroughly relaxed and so convenient to the highlights of the city, especially the foreshore.

Walking distance to the beach, cafes and all the way into town if you feel like a longer walk or a run. Experienced hosts who are kind and friendly, while still giving you privacy. Apartment is the downstairs floor of house. Well equipped with everything we needed.

Awesome space!

Stayed 2 nights at Robyn's place in Sarandon on a pre-Christmas visit to Taranaki from Auckland. A clean, well appointed space in a location that was really handy to New Plymouth centre and visiting rellies in Waitara. Would have no hesitation recommending this place to friends and whānau!

Fabulous accomodation in a beautiful location

A modern, clean, attractive and well equipped apartment. We really appreciated the full kitchen. The beds are super comfy. The location was superb, easy to find, quiet attractive neighbourhood and handy to most local amenities. Wonderful hosts.

Wonderful - highly recommended.

A beautifully appointed unit, we felt very comfortable. Close to the beach and a short drive in to New Plymouth town centre. Great value for money. Although Robyn was away during our stay she provided clear and detailed information to help us with our visit. Highly recommended.

Slice of Heaven

This is possibly the best B&B we’ve ever stayed at! It had everything we needed and more. The location is fabulous, very close to the beach, coastal walkway and a short walk from town. There are also a great couple of cafes nearby that offer early morning coffees. No on-site parking but street parking is plentiful. The apartment itself has all the mod cons including a full kitchen and laundry and even Netflix. Great accessibility for wheelchair users too. Our hosts Robyn and Blair made check in/out easy and communication was good. They also offered flexibility with check in/out times. Can’t recommend this place more. It’s quite simply a slice of heaven!
