This family friendly property is situated in a quiet street in Mangawhai Heads enabling you to enjoy all services and attractions at both the Heads and the Village.
Suffolk Street Retreat is a ‘80s built pole house with ‘70s styling. It has three bedrooms. A master bedroom with Queen bed, a "bunk room" with two single bunk beds, and an additional single bed, and a third bedroom with two single beds. A port-a-cot is also available. There's no linen on the beds so you'll need to bring your own including top and bottom sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmat, hand towel, tea towels and so on. There are duvet covers on the duvets, and plenty of blankets.
The open plan layout of the living room, dining area and kitchen makes for relaxed holiday living. A ranch slider opens on to the sun trap deck. The balustrade on the deck has been “child proofed” with the addition of chicken mesh. The kitchen is fully equipped.
A separate laundry includes a washing machine with huge capacity to deal with the beach towels and other family wash requirements quickly and easily. An iron is also available. There is a large outdoor rotary clothesline for hanging washing and, in the event of inclement weather, a clothes line under the house enables you to get the washing dry despite the showers.

Amazing communication with friendly host whose written emailed instructions were clear and helpful. The lockbox was easy to find. The bach is a classic 70's era place. We loved the furnishings of a great time gone by. There are glimpses of the ocean and lovely views of hills. There are walks nearby leading down to the estuary. The fabulous ocean beach is a very short drive away. We loved it here.
The house is in excellent condition. Everything was clean and well maintained. Our kids loved the abundant games and puzzles as well as the outdoor swing.
The location is ideal—just a short walk to the beach and close the town center. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, perfect for a family getaway. Communication with the owner was excellent, making check-in and our overall stay smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient place to stay!

The homely house was a great place to stay, whether for a short stay or a longer break. It is within walking distance of the beach, golf club, Bowling club and shops. We felt at home at the very start and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
A cute little old school kiwi Bach in a lovely location. Perfect for our needs as a family with 4 teenagers. Super clean & well set up, with amazing communication from the hosts.
