Absolutely outstanding stay! The house was beautiful, immaculately presented, and the views were simply breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations.The homeowners were fantastic to deal with, friendly, welcoming, and incredibly responsive, which made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable.This was one of those rare places that looks even better in person than it does in the photos. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed and are already talking about our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a special getaway in Mangawhai. We'll definitely be back!

Great location by the beach with an amazing view and comfortably slept 5 adults. Very well equipped with kitchen stuff and we really appreciated the proper coffee machine!

We have loved our stay in this house: it has all the comfort and amazing views!The location was perfect for us, not far from street with lovely restaurants/ takeaway places. Great beaches nearby and you just cannot beat the views from this property.We would love to come back one day

Amazing location with awesome views. Walk to beach in just a few minutes. Kayaks available too. Exceptionally comfortable facilities made this feel like home away from home. Would definitely visit again.

A lovely property, super clean, well-stocked and well located to the estuary, Manawhai Heads Reserve. We loved our stay as did our kids (8 & 10) - especially loved all the cookbooks to browse through!

Seaside Getaway

Great location and property. Lots of local walks, fabulous view and tonnes of space to lounge about and do as little as possible! Would definately stay again.

The house is great, but need some TLC when it comes to cleaning. We stayed during the latest storm, and there was a small leak in the lounge/conservatory entrance, which got fixed quickly by the owner. Great to have aircon in both the lounge and the hallway!. Overall, great location and amazing views!

Very clean well kept property with everything available for our needs. Great views and incredibly handy for us as we were with the Surf Club Camp. Kids had a ball, parents got the relaxation that was needed!

Home away from home!

We had a great stay in Mangawhai. Had abit of a check in issue but wasn’t a big problem. House was clean and tidy, all amenities as described. Views were lovely. Highly recommended.

I booked this on behalf of some work colleagues, and unfortunately, they were not impressed with the cleanliness of the house. They made several remarks about certain things not being clean - including the bedding.

It is a shame to only find out of any issues when you post a review. We said if you have any problems please get in touch and we’ll work to resolve them straight away, but never heard from you during the stay so assumed everything was ok. It’s difficult to keep an eye on the cleaner’s work when we live in a different city, but would have definitely fixed these issues if you had told us.

Great bach

The house was perfect for our week working in Mangawhai. Not too far from the job and close to shops and restaurants. It was great to have a private and quiet space to return to in the evenings. Communication was quick and easy. The space itself, was clean and tidy with safe off street parking for two work vehicles. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Sunny and Easy

I found the property to be very easy to stay in, convenient location to estuary and a short drive to the local shops and cafe's. The house itself is a refurbished lockwood style home and very sunny ,warm and tidy with all the mod cons you need. Privacy was a key for me as I wanted to wind down and chill out, it was far more private than I thought it would be with the camping ground in front buts its perched behind and up the hill which affords a view, cool little house
