Holiday Home in Nelson Lakes- a peaceful bushy retreat in St Arnaud.

A modern, spacious house with Mountain View’s and all day sun. Wake up to bellbird song and explore Nelson Lakes. A family friendly house, with two queen bedrooms and a mezzanine area that can sleep 4 (single mattresses on the floor). Plenty of space to relax or play games. From here you can walk to the lake or village, or just relax and take in the mountainous vista from the large bay window. IMPORTANT. There is no linen available and no cleaner. Please bring all your own linen and leave the place clean and tidy when you leave.

Simply gorgeous. Very well thought out space. Exceptionally clean. Very warm. Enjoyed the local walks, down by the lake is suitable for pram. A little temporary baby proofing would be required by guests if the baby could crawl- which would be doable without bringing anything extra. Luckily our baby can’t quite crawl. It was all the soul goodness of hiking without carrying baby up a mountain. Hope to stay again.

Tree encircled sanctuary

We had a brilliant stay here, it was the perfect size for 2 families and well equipped for us to spend time together and recover inbetween tramps.

Beautiful Home with Stunning Views – Great for Families

We recently stayed here with three families, all with young children, and had a fantastic time. The home was warm and cosy for our winter stay, beautifully maintained, and perfectly laid out for a larger group. Stunning views, a great location, and everything we needed was right at hand. Communication was quick and easy throughout.We’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to others.Just a note for families with little ones. there are stairs, including a ladder-style staircase to the mezzanine. Our kids managed it fine, but something to be aware of depending on your family.
