**Spring 2026: Sandtrap will feature 3.5 Newly Remodeled Bathrooms**

Looking for a Gulf front retreat? Sandtrap is a one-story Gulf front home that offers direct access to the sugar-white sand via a private boardwalk. With 3 king bedrooms, 1 bedroom with two sets twin bunk beds, and two bathrooms, this property comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests, making it perfect for family vacations or group stays.

Inside Sandtrap:
Fall 2025 the home will have new furniture throughout!
The spacious living area includes a TV and comfortable sofa sets, one of which conveniently converts into a queen-sized bed for additional sleeping space. A spacious deck overlooks the Gulf of Mexico, offering a stunning backdrop for relaxation or outdoor dining. The dining area comfortably seats six, with an additional bistro set for two, and the eat-in kitchen includes two chairs. The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with essentials, including a coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, microwave, and blender, and a free standing ice maker, giving you everything you need to prepare meals with ease. Step outside onto the deck, where you’ll find a picnic table ideal for al fresco dining, allowing you to enjoy meals in the open air while taking in the surrounding views. For added convenience, a washer and dryer are included.

The home boasts three king bedrooms and a bunk room, all sharing two well-appointed bathrooms, making it easy to accommodate both adults and children. Each bedroom is designed with comfort in mind, ensuring restful nights during your stay.

Sleeping Arrangements:
Bedroom 1: 1 king bed and a TV, with a shared bathroom.
Bedroom 2: 1 king bed and a TV, with a shared bathroom.
Bedroom 3: 1 king bed and a TV, with a shared bathroom.
Bedroom 4: 2 Twin over twin bunk bed sets and a TV, with a shared bathroom.
*The sofa in the living room pulls out into a queen-sized bed.

After a day on the beach, the outdoor shower offers a convenient way to wash off the sand. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Gulf from the spacious deck. Sandtrap is also just a short drive from Gulf Shores Public Beach, where you can explore local restaurants, beach bars, and the Gulf State Park for outdoor activities.

Amazing beach house!! Everything was great!! The house was decorated so cute and the kitchen was well stocked. Nice porch on the back and walkway to beach was great for our mom. Beds were comfy too. We will definitely be returning!!

Cozy with great beach access

The house was perfect for our family and the ease of access to the beach was so convenient. We got to watch dolphins from our porch! Jist don't forget to bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Overall, we had an amazing time!

Fall break trip

My family of four and another family of five really enjoyed this house. We will definitely return! A couple of things to note... 1. The bedroom doors do not lock. Not a huge deal, but good to know going in. 2. The bedding is thin, so bring an extra blanket if you like heavy blankets for sleeping. Neither is a big enough reason for us not to return. The house is directly on the beach and the views are beautiful. The shaded porch is a huge plus!

Wonderful Beach View

This was a wonderful place for us to stay. Loved the back porch and the furniture. Just wished there was a grill for use. Only issue was our 83 year old mother was unable to be comfortable on the furniture due to the sits being deep and worn out.

Gulf Shores Vacation

We had a great time. The house was clean and ready to go when we arrived. Location was within 5-10 min to all the activities we wanted to do. Separate ice maker was a great addition for the kitchen for making up coolers to go down to the beach. Would highly recommend this property.

All the comforts of home!

We have stayed at the Sand Trap several different years & always were very satisfied. My husband, who passed away a year ago, loved setting on the deck while the rest of us were in the water. In fact, we took some of his ashes & sprinkled them in the sand. He would be so happy.

Winter getaway

Gulf shores is pretty quiet during the winter, but this house was perfect for a quiet getaway. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The fridge was big enough for food/drinks/etc. The location was close enough for affordable uber rides. Other reviews mentioned to bring blankets since the beds don't have comforters, that is still true. The only thing is, and it's not the fault of the house, there's a dredging pipe from the canal nearby that runs in front of the house. It wasn't a problem for my group, but it may interrupt views if it's still there during the beach season. Other than that though, the beach and view is great. I'd definitely come back.

Great location!

The sand trap was such a great little house! Pros:* big ice maker that made enough ice for the whole family, coolers, drinks, etc. this was a huge help! * lots of space , beds, bathrooms. *plenty of kitchen pots, pans, plates, and utensils. * such a good spot on the beach. Not as crowded as the area with the condos. Very quiet area and such a convenient private deck out to beach. Cons: *only got 2 trash bags, not enough towels to last a day of showers, only 2 dish washing pods, no coffee pods provided. *dryer doesn’t dry very fast. It took several sessions to get the load of towels to dry all the way. *there was a large roach in the kitchen one night we think got in the door from the deck. There were several seen on the deck. *vaccum didn’t work well which was a bummer because the sand tracked in was crazy! *only two usb outlets available in kitchen. *livingroom tv kept switching to the Roku menu every 2 minutes which was very frustrating. * there were no blankets on the beds. Only a few coverlets in the closets. — overall this was a great place to stay! Gulf Shores had so much to do and to eat! This house was great for our family who were in town for a baseball tournament.

You really can't beat this property! We loved the views , plenty of room, the kitchen was well stocked with supplies, and my husband loved the paved driveway! (he rides his bicycle a lot while we are there so sandy driveways are not good !!)

Great home, beautiful views...just a few IMPORTANT things missing!

The house was almost perfect. The location, perfect! The size, perfect! Kitchen, perfectly so well equipped (needed a blender but not a huge priority to us.) Laundry was nice to wash sandy towels. Boardwalk was nice to the beach. Bedroom spacing was perfect. HUGE PROBLEM WAS BEDDING! I should have known as I read this complaint in a recent review and thought for sure they fixed it. Shame on me, or should I say shame on them! A top sheet and a textured sheet does not count as blankets. Not one bed had a blanket. Not one to be found in the house. Even cheap hotel rooms have blankets. We paid $5100 for the week, and requested a blanket when we got there, and were told the property did not provide blankets as an amenities. HUGE problem for someone who flies in. You can't exactly pack a comforter on a flight. Very disappointed, as rest and relaxation is the whole purpose of vacation. Needless to say we did not get ONE good night sleep while there. Also, a gas grill would have been nice. Who doesn't love to grill a steak or a burger on vacation. Not an option there. The one they had there and no propane tank and it was disgusting. Also, plan on going to the store. You are literally given a "starter" set of paper towel and toilet paper. A little disappointing. Finally, for the amount of money to retain the house for the week, I'm sure the owners could shell out a few bucks and provide some beach chairs.

Perfect stay

Clean, perfect location, house was well kept. No rental is perfect, and there are always dislikes, but I was overall very pleased. My only complaint is the bed covers. They are more like table cloths. BYOB. (Blanket).
