I am always looking for a place to stay that exudes the history of it’s location and Villa Jarrow is exactly that! It’s total restoration is beautiful, it’s right on the water and it’s location is wonderful as far as doing and seeing a lot of fun things connected with the ambience of Barbados.Our host Tim was fun, very responsive prior to our arrival and to his credit this gem of a property was properly restored.

Host was friendly. His response was immediate. We had some minor issues which were resolved. We loved the space. It was beautiful and close to everything. Loved having access to the kitchen. Loved the AC in the bedrooms.

Timothy was very welcoming. The synopsis of the vrbo was a bit inaccurate. No private parking as stated. No hot tub as stated. The music was so loud but I guess we were warned about that. Being right on the water was certainly a plus. The living area was a bit small for the six of us but overall Tim’s place was an okay vrbo.

Timothy was available for any questions I had with prompt responses.I would definitely return to this property..late night loud music from local restaurant was a bit of a drag…otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay..

Awesome Location

We stayed at Villa Jarrow for 28 days, the location of this property is second to none. The views from sunrise to sunset are breathtaking. Very close to the Gap restaurants and nightlife as well as grocery shopping and multiple beaches. With direct access to the calm waters of the bay protected by a reef we found no need to travel far. Our host provided exceptional attention we will definitely be returning. It was the best location we have ever stayed at near the gap. Highly recommend.

This villa is literally ON the beach and has beautiful views. The historic nature of the home has a lot of character and the design offers a lot of space to enjoy the property.

Yes the Villa iwhich s over 200 years old overhangs the Beach ! some guests enjoy fishing from their patio. I have experience a guest catched a fish from the deck and Barbecue it on the said deck. The family of Dawn Sckork were great guests and we look forward to having them back.

Right in the middle of the action!

Amazing location and easy to walk to everything! If you want to venture further than a walk, there are taxis very close by. Cute house, great view of the ocean.

Location was great

Property is great! Walking distance to several bars and restaurants, beaches, and souvenir shops. Timothy is great to work with and meets you at the house to make sure you know where everything is. House was as advertised.

Great host and location

Our young adult children really wanted to be in a location close to the night life and restaurants. This was it! Enjoyed having our own bathrooms and bedrooms with great air conditioning. Entire place could have used a deep cleaning. There was grime on baseboards, bathrooms and kitchen appliances. We loved the deck and house overall.

Lori, is correct about the deep cleaning. The Villa has been back to back from October until Lori arrived. We do deep clean before all arrivals but one of our staff members was sick the day before and the day of Lori,s arrival. We were conscious of this thus during my Villa tour with Lori I specifically requested of her that I wanted to agree a day for the Housekeeper to clean the Villa. She was emphatic that “ it was not necessary as they were there for a short time”. We tried calling her during her stay as we knew that a deep cleaning was necessary, but they were out at all times. This is the exemption and I am glad that Lori has advised us. It will not happen again! I am glad that I personally visited Lori and family on their arrival and their departure and they are a wonderful young family. Lori you were great guests and you will be given credit for our short coming on your next visit. Do enjoy the rest of 2025. Tim Boyce

Good Location / Beautiful Home

Our stayed at Villa Jarrow was perfect. It was exactly what we expected based on photos. The home was comfortable and we felt safe. The private beach access and the sound of the waves created a very zen and relaxing atmosphere which we so needed. Property is in a good location - access to restaurants, bars, grocery store, and main airport. Looking forward to staying again.

Cant wait to come back

We wanted a private on the beach setting where the waves and sounds of the ocean were present and not just a high rise resort this time. That paired with the Primo restaurant next door and the views from there is just heaven. Carlisle Bay is10/15 away and I would recommend if looking for the same ocean experience.

We are blessed to have this lovely spot. The Geography of the area, the virtual private Beach, the gentle ebb and flow of the tide 24/7, a walk across the Beach to the best restaurants and night life on the island and lots more allows us to concentrate on service and quality of the Villa. Brian exchanged lots of correspondence before his arrival and this certainly help us to have a" peep "before at his karma before he arrived. Thanks Brian! In 2024 we would like to have more first timers like Brian as most of our arrivals are previous guest. First Timers !!!! Come, See and Believe!!!

Perfect introduction to Barbados

Lovely traditional beachfront house with gorgeous views, fully equipped kitchen, and three air-conditioned bedrooms. You could walk out directly into the water from the porch an additional benefit, which was not expected is the proximity to a huge number of fine restaurants with all types of cuisine.. And importantly, a car was not a problem as there was a small parking place directly across the street from the house.
