Welcome to Seascape Suite!

This one bedroom is ideal for anyone looking for a quiet place to unwind and relax. Clean, private one bedroom suite with a big comfy King size bed and flat screen streaming tv with local cable and Netflix. -Take a stroll along the property’s 200-foot boardwalk and dock to immerse yourself in the ocean’s sights and sounds. Borrow a crab trap and try your luck off the dock! October to March is when big Dungeness crab are most plentiful and the crabbing in Sooke Harbour is fantastic! Take a kayak out for a leisurely paddle! Bring your boat? We have over 200ft of dock space! Sit on the terrace and star gaze or play a game of bocci ball together. Seascape Inn is a small boutique hotel situated on the Sooke Inlet, just a kilometre from Sooke town centre.

-Nestled on a stunning 2-acre oceanfront property, Seascape offers a serene escape just a 10-minute walk from vibrant downtown Sooke. Enjoy easy access to local attractions, including the Sooke Museum, Seaparc Recreation Centre, Galloping Goose Trail, Sooke Potholes, DeMamiel Creek Golf Course, and a variety of shops, restaurants, breweries, and hiking trails.

The property features five private units, each with its own entrance ensuring a peaceful and independent stay. Shared amenities include a private parking lot, a large private dock, direct beach access, and a scenic oceanfront deck with a grassy area perfect for relaxation. A communal laundry facility is available for guest use from 9 AM to 7 PM.

Adventure awaits with two complimentary kayaks (first-come, first-served) for exploring Sooke Harbour’s tranquil waters. Guests can also try their hand at crabbing with provided crab traps, offering a true coastal experience. October to March is prime season for catching abundant Dungeness crab right off the dock!

*Note: The dock, boardwalk, and beach are accessed via several stairs, which may not be suitable for guests with mobility challenges.*

This place was really nice. We tried out the crab traps and saw a seal when we were on the dock. Bed was comfy and place was very clean. Would come back again.

The accommodation was excellent. The kitchen was very well equipped. Location was convenient to both Victoria and hikes up through Port Renfrew. Great views. Tiffiny was an excellent communicator.

Exceptional property

We had a great stay at this beautiful property. Every morning I enjoyed my cuppa down on the jetty watching the seals and otters taking in the beautiful scenery. The property is walking distance from Sooke and everything you need is there.I’d highly recommend this property.

I would have given five stars right across the board but the road noise was a bit loud first thing in the morning. But when you consider the absolutely gorgeous property at the back, the traffic noise can definitely be forgiven. The ocean views are phenomenal and there is abundant comfy seating. The suite is nicely decorated and equipped very well. We would be happy to return sometime and if we do, we'll take the kayaks for a paddle!

Looks can be deceiving

When i booked i thought i had an oceanview which i did not. The grounds and the buildings could use a bit of a facelift thru cleaning or paint. The inside of our suite was quite nice and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked and very clean. I was even impressed that there was a cribbage game to play. Bedroom was nice and had a good mattress. One problem though was there was a skylight with no way to cover, which was a problem since we had just came from an eastern time zone and wanted darkness for sleep. Bathroom was clean but a bit dated and the shower faucet was old and cheap.

Very clean, good lighting, kitchen supplies, same in the bathroom. What was best was the backyard, the views, the tables set up that created an atmosphere of home away from home. We felt very comfortable there with our dog and loved the long dock into the bay. Tiffny was very helpful and welcoming. Good location. The road is a bit loud at night with our window open but became white noise. Loved having two doors in and out, one to the backyard and the front door. Also very much enjoyed all the greenery around the property and the free laundry. Again, we felt very relaxed and at home during our comfortable stay.

Die Suite des Oceanfront Inn entsprach in allem der Beschreibung. Die gerĂ€umige Suite war top sauber, bestens ausgestattet, mit vielen kleinen zusĂ€tzlichen Details, die den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machten. ErwĂ€hnenswert ist der tolle Bootssteg, der zum Anwesen gehört. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass man in der Unterkunft gelegentlich Autoverkehr der naheliegenden Straße hört. Ansonsten ist die Suite in jeder Hinsicht zu empfehlen.

Das GelĂ€nde ist super angelegt mit mehreren EinzelunterkĂŒnften und dazugehörigen ParkplĂ€tzen. Es gibt einen Zugang zu einem Steg, der eine super schöne Aussicht und Möglichkeit zum Innehalten bietet. Tiffiny ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin und die Unterkunft sowie das GelĂ€nde sind einfach wunderschön. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefĂŒhlt und kommen jederzeit gern wieder!
Steg und Weg zum Steg, die beide zum GelÀnde gehören.
Ab und zu trocknen sich auch Seehunde auf dem Steg :)
