10/10 for families!

This house is what made our vacation! It was very close to the lake, easy to get in and out, specifically set up for families, the kids (11,7,3) loved it, clean, and the property manager was phenomenal. We already plan to go back in the winter.

Worst rental in Hideout

We have stayed in many, many homes in the hideout and have never had a problem until this home. Janna refused to send any information in writing or supply a key- siting the neighborhood was "safe". The home is listed as having AC as an amenity- however this 3 story home only had 1 single portable ac unit for 1 bedroom. The house was over 90* when we arrived at 6pm. As the unit was off. She handed me a bucket and informed me how the prior guests broke the unit and it wasnt working properly and would leak! The wall paper upstairs was literally peeling off the walls and she taped it up due to the heat. The 1st floor also has visible mold growing on the walls and ceiling. The screen doors have multiple large cuts letting bugs in- so she has 2 bug zappers inside the kitchen and 1st floor. The unit was not cooling the home so her husband left a fan, for us to assemble ourselves, and said there was nothing else they would do. We immediately contacted VRBO as sleeping there in 90* inside was not what we signed up for, especially with 4 children under the age of 5. While being on the phone with vrbo making complaints the owner called vrbo to report we were "destroying the property". "I have pics and videos to show the house in the same condition as we arrived. Janna kicked us out of the home, with police, and is keeping all of our money. The police saw no damage- but there was nothing they could do in a civil manner. We are actively working with vrbo so this lady can never do this

A great place to stay and wonderful stream right there. Close to all the amenities and the host was wonderful. Great place for a family stay.

Excellent stay!

Our host was great and the place was wonderful! Fully enjoyed our stay! The place pretty much had everything we needed but if it didn’t there’s a CVS, rite aid and weis market around the area. The dining hall was delicious and inexpensive and a perfect place to get a meal if you don’t feel like cooking since delivery options are scarce. We spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the weather and jacuzzi. Perfect getaway home.. or should I say hideout… we will be back!

Awesome location

The property location is awesome..it’s quiet, private and at a great location. Janna is super helpful, she stopped by for a quick tour and was quick to respond to any questions. My kids had super fun both in jacuzzi and inside the house(lots of toys). We walked to lake just opposite from house. Overall we loved it!!

Relaxing Get Away

My husband and I and another couple went for a weekend getaway. Even though this place would be amazing to have kids come we wanted an adult trip. Spent most of the weekend on the deck! Very peaceful and relaxing. Owner was easy to get ahold of and right down the road if we needed anything. The deck with the sitting area fire pit and hot tub made the weekend so relaxing!
