The quintessential dog friendly Lake Wallenpaupack getaway! Cozy blue cabin close to the lake! This is a lake view cabin that is a very short walk to the lake.

Central air and heat, beautiful original stone fireplace, outdoor deck, fire pit, and plenty of room for corn hole!!

The town is Lake Ariel, and the lake it is on is Lake Wallenpaupack. It is a Lake View home that's a short walk to the lake area ( I would estimate around 200 feet to get to the lake/launch area). It has a community beach area where you can hang out at the lake, launch kayaks, fish, etc.

Close to many restaurants around the lake area. Perfect getaway cabin!

This was my first time using vrbo and this listing was exactly how it was described and in person, it was even better.It was a quiet little cabin in the mornings you could drink your coffee and look at the lake and at night, you can hear the water crashing against the rocks it was relaxing. Would highly recommend to friends and family

Adorable cabin in beautiful location!

This cabin was perfect for our family of four plus our dog! The neighborhood is calm and the lake and changing leaves were beautiful! Great communication from the host and checking in was super easy. Thanks for a great stay!

Little Blue Cabin!

Our family had such a great long weekend stay. Easy walk to the Lake/Beach area. Great fireplace and firepit! Everything in the house was easy to use and we had everything we needed.

Perfect little getaway.

Peace by the lake

We stayed for two weeks in this quaint home. The first week was characterized by rain, rain, rain, but we needed rest, rest, rest, so we made a fire (it was actually chilly) and ventured out only for food. The area food choices are AWESOME! If you drew a 20 mile circle around the area, you’d be amazed at the quality of food choices available. We hiked in the area, visited Bushkill Falls, and met kind folks all over the area. We had a very nice time.

Comfortable and easy to access

Quiet lakeside cabin

Beautiful blue cabin with a wonderful lake view and a quiet community. Very peaceful and relaxing. I love the fireplace and that it’s pet friendly. My family and black lab enjoyed our time there and will be booking another trip this year

Lake Weekend Getaway

We wanted a place to get away for the weekend that was pet friendly and immersed in fall foliage. The Blue House was the absolute perfect match! Jack was responsive and the whole process was so smooth. We were very fortunate with perfect weather - got to enjoy the lake, nearby trails and the fire pit at night. The neighborhood was quiet and it was such a peaceful weekend disconnecting. Would book again and highly recommend for anyone looking for a lake retreat!

Winterfest Getaway

We rented this house so we could go to Winterfest in Hawley and take our kids to breakfast with Santa at Skytop. This house was amazing. It was clean, well stocked with anything you need and so charming. The fireplace is great, and we just had a great time. We will defiantly be back. This was such a wonderful experience!

Great little get away!

This house was perfect for a quick weekend! There is a small beach by the lake that’s nice for a walk/morning coffee. It’s not a touristy area at all so it’s quiet and peaceful. I would say if you’re looking to be isolated it’s not necessarily for you, as it is in a community of houses, but if that doesn’t bother you it’s definitely still a great location! The host is extremely helpful and friendly. I had asked if there were board games and he literally went and bought some haha! GREAT place for dogs! The house itself has everything you need and the grocery store is maybe 15 minutes away. There are great trails nearby as well. I am pregnant so we spent our “baby moon” here and it was literally perfect :)

Wonderful Cabin

We were traveling to the area for a wedding and decided to make a little vacation out of it. The house was just perfect, everything was clean and ready for us. Our family of four was very comfortable and our dog loved it too. The kitchen had everything you could need, we didn’t cook much, but it would have been easy to do so. Access to the lake is just across the street and the neighborhood is very quiet and nice for walking. We enjoyed using the fire pit one night and sitting out on the deck. The only downfall was that we didn’t have more time there! Great relaxing weekend!

This is our second time staying here and we enjoyed it even more this time. The docks were pulled back for winter storage so it left more open space for fishing. We caught about 12 fish. When we stayed in June, it was too warm for an indoor fire. We could enjoy a nice fire this time both inside out. I love the sunny deck with a view of the lake too. Very quiet and peaceful

The family loved the rustic look of the cabin, Plenty of room too chill out. Enjoyed fires inside and out. Loved the deck and seating area.The only con was we were told not to open the windows.The lower level bedrooms were small and stuffy when the door was closed especially while sleeping.

Blue Cabin

Great cabin and location! We had so much fun there. Great place to hangout and relax. Nice firepit, big deck, big windows inside that let in beautiful light that filters through the leaves on the trees.
