Amazing, beautifully furnished ground floor apartment, walk off the front lawn down to beach via private jetty for a swim. Fantastic harbour views and sun sets. Use of complimentary kayak. Air conditioned Lounge has beautiful views and includes Sky TV sports channel and Netflix plus free wifi. kitchenette with Microwave, air fryer/oven, electric frypan, and nespresso coffee machine. Large comfortable bedroom with king size bed and sea views. Bathroom has shower, bath and toilet with bidet. Great indoor outdoor access from both lounge and bedroom. Gas BBQ available. Laundry facilities available on request. Separate entrance from main house. Off street parking. Handy to several restaurants and Ruakākā, Uretiti or Waipu ocean beaches. 35min drive to Whangarei with all the tourist spots that includes. 5 minutes drive to Marsden Cove Marina which includes restaurant and Four Square grocery shop. Join your hosts for drinks Thursday Friday or Saturday at the Marsden Cove Fishing Club. if you are keen on fishing maybe Pete will take you out in his boat or put his drone out from the front lawn to catch snapper. Your hosts are Pete and Yvonne McGregor, We have recently changed to Book a Bach from another hosting company where we won the 2025 traveller Review Award with a rating of 9.8 out of ten

The host gave us a pleasent welcome. We enjoyed our stay very much. The bayside location and the view is outstanding and peaceful. You can swim off the host stairway and landing to the beach. The host is very friendly and accomidating. We were treated the last night to a special performance by a Beattles group at the local yacht club. Thank you so much Pete.

Yvonne is a people person who up until recently managed an Auckland dental surgery. She enjoys working at the waipu op shop

We run events every second month at the marsden yacht and boat club featuring some of New Zealand’s most celebrated singers

One tree point is a beautiful part of New Zealand. It nudges out in to the whangarei harbour looking north towards whangarei.

It’s a very friendly safe neighbourhood

The property looks out to the harbour where several boats are moored. From the front lawn you can watch people launching and retrieving their boats. On some days the local yacht club has training for young sailors.

You can use our ramp to the jetty and beach where swimming in the crystal clear waters is possible for 2 hours each side of high tide.

We have picnic tables on the lawn for your enjoyment

It is also very very quiet so you will enjoy a great nights sleep in the comfortable king size bed
