Mrytle Beach Mom's Birthday Trip

Enjoyed and relaxing time. The unit needs deep cleaning and pillows and linens need to be replaced as murphy bed linen on the box was dirty, dish rack needs to be replaced or cleaned and some paint touch ups and the shower is noisy and was not able to get cold water, only hot water was available. But overall great communication to property management and very friendly and hope they take my feedback to help improve the units look.

The room had a weird urine like smell upon entry. One bed was comfortable and the other was unbearable. It creaked and groaned just from rolling over and it kept everyone up. We needed a sound machine to sleep through the night. They keep extra laminate flooring under the beds and some of the furniture was broken upon arrival. They remedied the broken furniture promptly upon communication but did not fix the bed. The pullout bed was fine. The view was fantastic and the kitchen was stocked but the condition of the kitchenware was poor. Rusted items, dirty burnt pots, no extra trash bags. The hospitality was lacking to say the least. I come from hotel management and am thoroughly understanding of things but I was unimpressed.Being on the beach was incredible and the pool was super clean. The lounge areas by the pool were kept clean and there were lots of stores within walking distance. We loved being able to park near our condo as well. If you drive up to the top of the parking deck, it makes for easy unloading from the car so you don’t have to use a luggage cart or use the elevator. There are several guests who smoked weed that week and so my kids couldn’t really enjoy the outside view in the evenings/afternoons. This is no fault of the property owners.The resort itself is under construction so the amenities listed are not accurate. The spa is under maintenance and was closed the entire week and the lazy river had a leak. The indoor pools were open though.

While we are truly glad to hear that you enjoyed the beachfront location, the pool area, and the convenience of parking and local shops, We want to sincerely apologize for the areas where your experience fell short. We take cleanliness and guest comfort very seriously, so I’m especially sorry to hear about the odor in the unit upon arrival and the issues with the bed. While we are glad we were able to promptly address the broken furniture, it’s clear that the overall sleeping arrangements impacted your stay, and for that, we sincerely apologize. Your comments about the condition of the kitchenware and the lack of extra supplies have been noted. We’re currently conducting a full inventory review and will be replacing worn or rusted items to ensure a better experience for future guests. Regarding the construction on the resort and the temporarily closed amenities, we understand how disappointing this must have been. While we don’t control the resort-wide maintenance schedule, we are working to make our listing as accurate and transparent as possible to reflect any ongoing changes. We also want to acknowledge your comments about hospitality. As someone with a background in hotel management, your feedback means a great deal. We strive to offer a welcoming and attentive experience, and we are sorry we didn’t meet that standard during your visit. Thank you again for your constructive feedback. It helps us improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future.
