Beautiful Wairarapa views, short drive to all Martinborough has to offer

This recently built barn style home has been crafted to provide all the comforts needed for a wonderful stay in the Wairarapa countryside. Located 50 metres away from the main house with its own driveway and access, the barn is situated on the hills behind Martinborough overlooking manuka trees and surrounding farmland, as well as having incredible views of the Remutakas to the west and north towards Mt Bruce. This is the perfect spot to relax and unwind, to take in the rural landscape, the dark sky and sounds of nature. Martinborough Village is a 10 minute drive from the property and for a small town has plenty to offer in the way of cafes and restaurants as well as vineyards for wine tasting and food options.

There are 2 bedrooms downstairs with a Queen bed in one and 2 singles in the other. Upstairs there is a loft area that has 2 king single beds that can be configured together to make a california king. This loft includes a tv area and a bathroom.

The large deck provides outdoor living, with a bbq and seating to make the most of the summer days and an indoor fireplace to add coziness during the colder months.

The kitchen is equipped for you to make yourself at home, with modern stylish appliances and equipment to easily self cater. A Nespresso coffee machine is available and there are laundry facilities.

Guest access
You have access to the entire house except for one small locked cupboard.

Other things to note
We warmly welcome families but please take extra care with your children. The barn is not child proof for example the barn has stairs that although have a handrail are not gated. If in doubt, please contact us for clarification before you book.

Although we have planted lots of trees which will eventually completely obscure the main house, it remains partially visible from the barn.

Sutherland Drive includes 2 kilometres of unsealed road.
