Beautiful beach house surrounded by palm trees and flowers, two bedrooms, Moroccan living room, and fire place. With an outdoor shower and barbeque.

Noted for its stunning natural geography of mountainous desert terrain set along the Sea of Cortez shoreline,
el Sargento region is renowned for its worl class sailing abundance of outdoor recreation options.

The space
360 degree ocean view from the roof of the house, chairs and palapa. Outside shower. 100 feet to the beach. Master bedroom includes a queen bed, and guest room includes a bunket which sleeps three people. Air conditioner and fan in every room. WiFi. Washer and dryer. Cleaning lady available at your request at local price. Place is very safe neighborhood surrounded by local people.

The neighborhood
The paloma's singing, hummingbirds being curious coming to check you out, every morning the local lady can come with fresh tortillas, and making you feel part of this beautiful part of the world.
The sunrises are possibly the prettiest you have ever seen, and different every single day. The beach is only a few steps from the house, and very private.
Centrally located only a few steps from Star Market, OXXO, KM0, Baja Bites, Nomada restaurant, Renaissance coffee and more. The moment you arrive at Casa Carolina, you don't have to drive to anywhere.

If you are into water sports, this is the destination for you.
During the months of November to March this is the place to be to windsurf, kitesurf, wingfoil, or even wakeboard behind a boat or ski when there is no wind.

Fishing is out of this world, either straight off the beach or through a fishing charter nearby.

Beautiful house with pool near beach

My family loved this beautiful house and pool. The house was very clean, with a beautiful pool that the kids spent all day in. We loved sitting on the roof with coffee in the mornings, watching the sunrise, and in the evenings to watch the stars. There’s tons of space to lounge around in. It’s a very short walk to the beach, and there are tons of good restaurants very close by. The hosts were incredibly responsive and full of great recommendations for restaurants and activities. We absolutely want to go back as soon as possible!

Peaceful Oasis

We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at Casa Carolina. The location is excellent — in the quieter part of the Ventana Bay Area, closer to El Sargento. It was a half block walk to a nice beach and a half block in the other direction to the main road with restaurants and shops. We were also a short walk to Nomada Organica and Casa Tara, both chic hotels with restaurants. The grounds were beautiful with a very large garden and pool and a spectacular rooftop deck with an ocean view. The bathroom and kitchen were a little dated, but the location and the property exterior areas made this an excellent choice for our family of 4. The separate Moroccan living room space is beautiful and cozy (although our kids took it over and we didn’t get to enjoy it for ourselves very much). Communication with the owner was excellent via text and phone and all our inquiries were answered right away. Overall, this was a great stay.

Great week at Casa Carolina

Lovely stay in comfortable home very centrally located between La Ventana and El Sargento. Just a couple houses from the beach but also the main strip with grocery stores, coffee shops, and lots of taco stands. Eduardo was very responsive and super helpful in planning adventures during our stay. We loved the "compound" as we called it, very safe and private. As mentioned in the ad, the pool is quite cold and the wind really does howl through here. We definitely want to come back and spend a week just learning to kite surf.

Incredible

We stayed for 5 nights and hgad a lovely time. My son and partner could kite while I lounged by the pool. The home is situated well for a family in need of two bedrooms. It was quiet at night and the bonus room was a great place to cill. My only suggestion is on the directions to make it clear to turn at OXXO :). Best

Peaceful oasis in La Ventana

Just returned from a wonderful two week stay at Casa Carolina with my wife and young kids. Our number one priority when choosing a vacation house is to find somewhere that we don't need or want to leave because we have everything we need right there. This place fits the bill. A secure property filled with lush tropical landscaping, house stocked with everything we need, lots of stuff for the kids to play with and a pool that is absolutely wonderful. Even on windy days that the kiters love, this location stays calm and cool. The amenities of the house are well thought out, especially for families with small kids. Tons of books, games, legos, pool toys, basketball court and a trampoline will guarantee mom and dad get time to relax without hearing the last thing you want to hear on vacation: "I'm bored". Quiet neighborhood that is central to a bunch of good restaurants, markets and activities. Highly recommend Baja Bites, Casa Xolo, La Tuna and Pitya Farm to Table for excellent food options. Don't miss the ice cream from the stand by the beach next to La Tuna as well! Edouard was great to work with and quick to respond to any questions or requests. We would love to stay here again next time we are in town. This place is a gem.

Casa Carolina is a very beautiful home. Good proximity to beautiful beaches on the Sea of Cortez. Very simple, but very comfortable.

Baja Oasis - sublime

Casa Carolina is such a wonderful vacation-refuge, we loved our stay!! Blackout shades in the bedrooms, beautiful grounds with bougainvillea and coconut palms, basketball court (we brought our own ball and inflated it on arrival), refreshing private pool for swimming (not-heated, but perfect after a hot day!). Quiet neighborhood, loved sitting poolside to read a book, or up on the patio with view of the ocean. Wifi worked great. The house is walking distance to the beach, we also enjoyed watching the kite-surfing community in action. Edouard was attentive and quick to be of help, if needed... but he had already thought of all the details in advance, so we were good to go. Grateful for the holiday, we were so sad to leave!!

Amazing place and great host

We really enjoyed this beautiful property in El Sargento! The beach is a short walk away, and we all got out snorkeling right by the property. The main kite surfing beach is nearby, with multiple places to rent gear if you need. I rented mountain bikes - both were great quality - and checked out the excellent mountain bike trails in the area that were easily accessible from this home. We loved the simple, clean "local style" house, all the amenities left for us by the host, and the amazing yard! Our boys played basketball, and we enjoyed lots of time by the pool and on the beautiful rooftop terrace, listening to the wind through the palm trees, and the birds having a riot. We would stay here again!

Casa Carolina Dream Beach Vacation

We loved every minute of our stay at Casa Carolina. The house is very comfortable and the outdoor spaces and landscaping are fantastic. We felt like we were in our own private retreat, just what was needed to restore the body and mind. We spent most of our days outside lounging by the pool, swimming in the pool, drinking coffee, watching sunsets from the roof deck, and jumping on the trampoline with our six year old. At night we watched movies in the wonderful living / media room. The real jewel though is the beautiful sand beach a two minute walk away at the end of the road. Morning swims, snorkeling just off the shore at the stunning coral reef, and building sand castles before the wind came up was just what we were looking for. Edouard is a wonderful host. He arranged our transport from the Cabo airport and even had the house caretakers stock the refrigerator and have a home cooked meal ready for use when we arrived just around dinner time! We highly recommend Casa Carolina if you're looking to slow down, soak up the sun and enjoy the small town hospitality of La Ventana. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful oasis

We absolutely loved our time in this home. The house is tastefully simple—equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay yet artfully designed. The garden is lush and gorgeous. There are so many details that have been thoughtfully added to make this space relaxing and beautiful. The beach is a short walk, but I recommend going across one block for easier access. There are also many great restaurants within walking distance and a small market. We look forward to our next visit! Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

This property was perfect for us far enough off of the beach to enjoy the rooftop views with some protection from the wind. We really hoped it was closer to the water but it turned out to be perfect. The pool was really cool to have and there's even a trampoline in the backyard and lots of place for the kids to play. Perfectly located within the town to be close to everything. We would happily return. The house was very responsive and checked in often.

Un oasis parfait!

La propriété est très bien située. À distance de marche de plusieurs petits restos, cafés et d’une petite épicerie bien fournie. Nous avons adoré la Casa et les enfants aussi. Plusieurs jeux disponibles pour les enfants. Beaucoup d’espace pour tous et tout est très beau. C’était très agréable, la piscine, la terrasse sur le toit... Très tranquille aussi, et on s’y sent en sécurité. Merci beaucoup

The trampoline was a great surprise for the kids

We had a great time. There was a small mixup at the beginning and Eduardo went out of his way to correct it. We are nature lovers and some highlights of our trip were the cactus forest south of town where we saw a bobcat and the hills north of town where we saw a horned lizard. Eduardo’s place was a great home base for our family vacation.

Great vacation!!

2 couples and 2 three month old babies stayed at Eduard's house for 10 days to kiteboard. It was awesome! The house has big grounds with beautiful landscaping, an awesome pool, and lots of outdoor seating with shade downstairs and on roof of house where we spent every morning with coffee and babies. Eduard was super nice, very easy to get ahold of and very accommodating. We would chat with him on the phone if we needed anything. There are 2 buildings, and one of the buildings has a fireplace and large seating area for hanging out, and the other building had the kitchen, bathroom, seating area and 2 bedrooms. The beach is super close to walk to, so are the bagel shop and other food joints. We had an amazing vacation and will stay here again next time we come down! Thanks Eduard!!
