Enjoy mountain views while BBQing on a deck, lazing in a hot tub, or telling stories under the stars next to a backyard fire pit (STR Permit 20-NCD0329). Our beautiful home offers 3 bedrooms with incredible views, an entertainment room with a huge flat screen TV and foosball, and an open floor plan with a kitchen, dining, and living area that encourages family time.

+ 10 minute drive to the National Park
+ 5 minute drive to town
A perfect base for up to 6.
Real quick -- house rules:
No early check in or late checkouts. Check in is 4pm or later; check out is 10am or earlier. No smoking, no pets, no parties. No wood burning in yard (gas fire pit only). 3 cars only. Guests must start a load of dishes and a laundry load of towels/hand towels/washcloths at checkout (we have negotiated a lower cleaning fee based on this). Accurate guest count is mandatory and the platform will not otherwise generate a correct price for your date. 6 guests max. Hot tub open year round. Also no cable -- bring your own streaming accounts for the smart TV.

My husband and I raised our kids in this gorgeous home near the lake, but recently moved higher into the mountains around town. We are now proud to rent our place out to people who truly wish for the best Estes has to offer. We have so many fond memories from around our backyard fire pit or from family cookouts on the deck. We hope you experience the same!
BEDROOMS
My home offers 3 bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 - Our master suite has a luxurious king bed, views of the mountains so you can watch the sun rise or sun set, and a comfortable en suite bathroom with a shower. It`s on the opposite side of the house from the other bedrooms so it`s got a little more privacy.
Bedroom 2 - A favorite bedroom with absolutely enormous picture windows, a comfy queen mattress, and a door leading out to the deck. It`s raised off the ground and offers a treehouse feel, and if you keep the windows open you can fall asleep to the stars.
Bedroom 3 - Next to bedroom 2, also featuring a queen bed and windows and darker shades, adjacent to the second bathroom.
LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT
Living Room - I love our open floor plan! The living room, kitchen and dining area all adjoin each other in one great room, complete with a funky old yellow piano you`re free to use. There is also a massive French patio door opening onto the deck, with the grill and outdoor picnic area. Beneath the coffee table is a great selection of games for family game nights.
Outdoor Living & Hot Tub - We have two big decks, both of which have staircases leading down to the hot tub and the fire pit in the yard. There is ample space for outdoor dining and grilling on the deck, and the hot tub has great mountain views. Just down from the hot tub is a quaint outdoor gas fire pit for family gatherings.
Media Room - Downstairs is a great media room with a huge flatscreen TV with lots of streaming options as well as a foosball table. Movie nights are the best!
LAUNDRY & COOKING
Kitchen - The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, small appliances, fridge, freezer, full size oven and stove, microwave, drop coffee maker, toaster, and more. You may not actually use it that much because you can walk to all the great restaurants in downtown!
Laundry - We do offer a full size washer and dryer for you to use!
Guests have complete access to my property, including the yard, deck, hot tub, kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedrooms, media room, and laundry room. We have parking for 3 cars.
I live a few miles away and am a long time Estes Park local. My husband is a great realtor (let me know if you`re interested in moving here!) and I also teach yoga and am involved in a number of community projects. I am happy to answer any questions you have -- I`m just a quick text away!
Our home is located just east of town, in walking distance to Lake Estes and all the great fishing below the causeway as the lake empties out into the Big Thompson River just before it heads down canyon. a neighborhood of other historic cabins on a hillside just above downtown Estes Park. The home is up a small hillside so it`s elevated, and you`ll have nice views of the mountains from the deck, hot tub, and some of the bedrooms.
We have parking for three cars at our house, and it`s about a 10 minute walk to the seasonal free bus system that goes around Estes Park and into the National Park.
NOISE
This unit is in a neighborhood with other homes nearby, so events, loud music and noises, and parties are strictly prohibited. Please be respectful of your noise level. I really want to maintain good relationships with my wonderful neighbors.
NONPAYING GUESTS
Insurance forbids nonpaying and non-registered guests on property. There are motion sensitive security cameras on the outside of the building which will pick up nonpaying guests.
AIR CONDITIONER
Estes has a mild mountain climate in the summers but from time to time it can get hot. Like nearly every other home in town, there’s no A/C.
CHECK IN/OUT TIMES
Check in is 4PM and check out is 10AM. I cannot accommodate early check ins and late check outs due to my cleaners` schedule. It`s a super tiny mountain town and the cleaners are slammed and there just aren`t other people to clean. I`m sorry about that!
BEARS
Do NOT leave food in your car! Bears frequent this area and can break in!
MINUT
We use a Minut noise meter. It doesn`t record audio, but instead monitors decibel levels, temperature and humidity. This is for the safety of guests & to protect the home. It also serves to warn us about parties & prevent noise complaints from neighbors. It`s located on the cieling in the entryway.
* After booking, guests may be asked to review and accept a standard rental agreement covering house rules, safety disclosures, liability, and damage responsibility. This agreement does not modify pricing, cancellation terms, or refund policies presented on Vrbo and is intended to be consistent with Vrbo’s terms and the listing details.
We ask that guests start a load of all used towels and start a load of dishes in the dishwasher. This helps the cleaners get done quicker thereby the next guests can check in earlier- You get to pay it forward!
