Escape to a serene lakeside retreat just a short drive from Toronto. For a limited time, we're offering our stunning cottage, where tranquility and nature await. Wake up to breathtaking, uninterrupted lake views, and immerse yourself in the peaceful beauty of nearby conservation trails. Enjoy quiet walks, or indulge in birdwatching and deer sightings right outside your door.

In winter, cozy up by the fire with loved ones, relishing in a much-needed escape from the everyday hustle. Come summer, take advantage of your private beach for swimming, sunbathing, and exploring. Year-round, fire up the BBQ and savor your favorite meals in the fully-equipped kitchen, making every meal an occasion. Don’t miss out on this perfect getaway—your retreat from it all is waiting!

Excellent place. Plenty of room. Neighbourhood was quiet. Plenty of parking. House has everything we needed. Laundry on site was a big plus for our extended stay. Sherri-Lee made sure we felt welcome and was quick to answer any questions we had during our stay. Looking forward to staying here again next year.

A hidden gem stay for a girls weekend getaway

Truly only extremely positive things to say!! Sherrie-Lee was SO lovely right from the start. Booked her property several months in advance and gave a heads up that we were a very low key bridal party (6) going to the local Thermea spa that weekend to celebrate our bride and her upcoming wedding. This place was PERFECT for us. So peaceful and an amazing combination of private and shared spaces. Everyone loved going for walks in the gorgeous surrounding area and just having the beautiful lake view. The windows in the living room and the screened in sunroom were big highlights for us! This place also has more than enough kitchen amenities that we used to cook our meals and I hooked my laptop up to the TV in the living room for bachelorette games which the living room was absolutely perfect for. There was lots of parking for our 4 cars since we all came from different areas and the location is seriously a hidden gem. So close to the city with anything you need but it’s in a super scenic cottage area! The place is sooo clean and super cute decorations so our group photos were amazing! We are already planning a reunion because Sherrie-Lee was so fabulous to us. She even provided some board games for our game-loving group and communicating with her was so easy. We had the BEST time and, I know I keep saying the word perfect lol sorry, but it really was the perfect fit for our group!!! We already can’t wait to go back because this was the perfect place for us to make memories.
Great size place and the water view is so lovely. Ample parking off a quiet street makes it super easy to fine and go in and out.

Peaceful and Refreshing

My wife and I just returned from our stay with my parents at this property and we absolutely loved it! Despite being only a mile or two from everything you'll need in Whitby, it's incredibly peaceful and quiet. We would see a fox trot by each morning while drinking morning coffee, enjoy refreshing jumps into Lake Ontario, and walk on the local trails. This place was even better than advertised and is very spacious- hoping to make it back!

Beautiful quaint cottage with lake view

We were delighted to stay in this beautiful quaint cottage in close proximity to thermia spa - beautiful walking by the water. Outside screened in area, and porch. Cottage is recently renovated with new furniture and bedding, comfortable beds! Clean new laundry machines, well furnished kitchen. Sherry-Lynn was more than helpful on any questions.

Beautiful and relaxing

I recently sold my house in the area and had a few days in between houses. So I looked for a place to relax after all the stress of moving. This place is beautiful, freshly renovated with awesome taste, beds and linens were so comfortable, I felt at home, the lake water is Cristal and the amount of birds was amazing . Nature at its best.The hosts are awesome, replied in a timely manner and I was so thankful my dogs were welcomed. 10 out of 10, I would stay again and definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Nestled on the shores of the town of Whitby, just a short 30-minute (or so) drive from Toronto, our lakeside getaway offers the ideal balance of tranquility and convenience. Immerse yourself in nature with stunning lake views, refreshing swims in the warmer months, and a peaceful atmosphere. Yet, you're never far from the vibrant energy of Toronto's theatre scene, world-class dining, and entertainment. Escape to a place where relaxation and adventure go hand in hand. My favourite thing to do when I am not gardening, is to paint the sailboats passing on the horizon. I invite you to come and explore your new favourite thing to do.
