Gasconade Float Trip

This house is amazing and was perfect for our weekend float trip. Super clean, they had everything you needed and thought of all the little details. Plenty if towels, toilet paper, trash bags and spices. Even have extra camp chairs to sit on the porch. Was supper close to Froggyā€™s who provided kayaks and transport for our float.

We were really pleased with our stay. The highlights were bird watching from the deck and the fire pit. This location was particularly good for my children. There was a gate on the deck that locked to keep the babies from falling down the stairs.

Great Porch and Relaxing Trip

The pictures are accurate, and the property is very clean. We enjoyed games in the evenings and the set-up is perfect for making meals and spending time together. As shown in the pictures, the bedrooms are small, and there isn't a lot of space in the living area. However, it is a very efficient use of the space and worked well for our family (4 adults). We drove back and forth to FLW several times, an approximately 30-minute drive. We also canoed the river from Froggies (1/2 mile from the house) and that was lots of fun.

Weekend get away - in town for family wedding

The cabin was immaculate and instructions for everything were well explained and it was evident a lot of thought and time was put into making guests feel right at home. For those that like a little hill hiking, there was a really cool hill descent with a trail rope (maybe 500 - 600'long) that is affixed to trees going down the steep hillside to the bottom where it opens onto a river bank. It was gorgeous down there! The river can also be seen from the back porch, where there are 2 benches and 4 rocking chairs which is the perfect setting to sit and talk and play some music on a Bluetooth speaker. The hillside is fun, but a difficult trek for the elderly, out of shape or young children but if you like physically fit challenges, it was awesome! Scenery was gorgeous!!! This is a terrific place to get away for some solitude, family time and Mark was quick to respond to any questions I had at anytime. Wonderful weekend and I would love to return one day again! I would recommend this VRBO to anyone!

Beautiful and extremely clean!

The house was beautiful and very clean. It had all the essentials that were needed during our stay. Our son graduated from Fort Leonard Wood and this house was perfect for him to hang out and relax with us for a few days.

Reunion Trip

I was stationed at Ft. Leonardwood and still had friends up there. It was a great week of catching up and hanging out on the porch and grilling. Floating down the river, you name it. Super convenient to everything. Two things I wish were upgraded which are better couches and a full length mirror. Other than that the cabin was beautiful and very well thought out.

The cabin was very clean with easy access at check in time. The cabin was very well stocked

Had a lot of fun in a private setting. We had one evening with a little rain but with the covered patio and deck it was no problem keeping the grandkids busy. Mark was very easy to work with. We will go back

Beautiful, clean & quiet

This beautiful property was so nice and clean. It fit our family nicely and was close to Ft. Leonard Wood, so we could easily drive back and forth to see our son. The neighborhood was so quiet. It was great to be back in to nature and away from the business of life. If we are ever back in this area we will definitely check the availability of this house!
