St. Vital, a neighbourhood in Winnipeg, is home to this holiday home. St. Vital Museum and Historical Society and Celebrations Dinner Theatre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Tinkertown and Fun Mountain Water Slide Park. Fort Rouge Leisure Centre and Manitoba Theatre for Young People are also worth visiting.
Clean and comfortable. Check in is painless and hosts are always cooperative. A few glitches this time around but always happy to stay here when in the city! Will be staying many more times.
Had all the amenities needed. There were Keurig pods but no machine. The place was very clean and tidy. Easy access in and out. Great communication with the owners. A wonderful stay, would highly recommend.
I found the apartment very welcoming. Everything was easily accessible, there was great attention to detail by the property owners, it was well cleaned, and overall it was a lovely stay.
We stayed there for 3 nights and the basement suite was very clean and well decorated. It felt welcoming and cozy and we found it was a very good price for the area and the space we got. Just like any basement to a house you can hear steps from the people above but it is very well insulated so it was very minimal. I definitely recommend anyone to stay there for a few nights perfect for a couple or single people.
Excellent accommodations, great communication with host, everything was easy. You definitely could hear the family upstairs so know that going in but if you’re okay with that - this is a great stay and we would recommend it!
Overall great location, love the private entrance, very spacious, and clean. If your stay is longer the washer and dryer are amazing, kitchen is full of all your essentials, washroom is large, bedroom is spacious with a desk and chair. Restful sleep very comfortable. Close to many places. Would definitely recommend/stay again.
Accommodations were very nice. Extremely clean and well maintained. You could hear the people upstairs. Would have liked to have a table and chairs to eat at. Would stay again.
We needed a place close to Île Des Chêne to visit family and this was ideal for us. It was way better than a hotel and much less expensive. The bed was super comfortable and the full size fridge in the kitchenette came in very handy. The hosts were very responsive to our requests. Definitely worth coming back.

Awesome! We definitely would love to host you again. Thanks for the feedback, we appreciate.
Stayed at this basement suite during a weekend. It was easy to find on Google Maps with on street parking. Had very good communication with the host with instant replies. This was our first VRBO experience and so we were a big apprehensive to the idea. Overall we had a great first experience! The Suite had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was fully stocked with small appliances and items that I would normally use at home. They were "nice to haves" while away from home. The Suite was impeccably clean and smelled so good! We felt very safe. Will stay here again if we ever need to return to Winnipeg.
This was a clean, nice basement bachelor apartment. It was in a quiet neighborhood but voices and footsteps carry from upstairs. Unfortunately that was a problem our 2nd night. The host cited a reason , which probably won’t be repeated with future guests. There were some new items in the kitchen that still had stickers on them. They should have been washed first and the sticky residue removed with soap, rubbing alcohol, or nail polish remover. We didn’t do any cooking, but the kitchen seemed to be well stocked. I would suggest leaving Wi-Fi info in the unit.
