Loved Being So Close to the Beach

We had a really nice stay at Sandalfoot. The condo was simple, clean, and had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the patio just enjoying the sound of the waves. The beach is right outside your door which is amazing! The area is quiet but still close enough to grab lunch or ice cream. Would definitely come back."

Great location and well updated oceanfront unit with good parking, proximity to beach and pool as well very close to lighthouse, magic bus, wikies, marina etc. the overall property was well kept, and we were mostly comfortable in the unit. The master bathroom was too small for a couple to spread out their things and be comfortable. Also the shower was dirty with many hairs and there were hairs stuck to towels and bedding. I reached out to the vrbo contact and on site management and I was assured a resolution would be provided but no one contacted me. Laundry being shared was also a negative for me, but it is my fault for not noticing that on the listing. On site front desk was friendly but one person told us we couldn’t park our rented golf cart on the property and was very adamant (even telling me it was quite strange for me to have rented a golf cart) despite their website encouraging visitors to rent golf carts and saying they could be parked in the assigned spot or guest parking. This created a few hours of useless stress for me as it was just fine parking the golf carts there. We had a fantastic trip and the condo provided a comfortable space, save the few nuisances above.

Hi there! Thank you for stopping in at Sandalfoot 1A1! Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the oceanfront location, convenient access to the beach and pool, nearby attractions, and the overall condition of the property. It's wonderful to know that you found the condo comfortable and enjoyed your time on Sanibel. We sincerely apologize for the cleanliness issues you encountered upon arrival, as well as for the lack of follow-up after you reported your concerns. This is not the level of service we strive to provide, and we appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention. We also regret the confusion regarding golf cart parking and understand how frustrating that must have been during your vacation. Thank you as well for your understanding regarding the shared laundry facilities, which are noted in the listing details. We appreciate your balanced feedback and are glad that, despite these concerns, you had a fantastic trip overall. Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an even better experience in the future.
