Beautiful House in a Great Location

Stayed for two nights with family of four. The house is very clean and well stocked. Great location in Schulenburg to be within short driving distance from the Painted Churches Splashway waterpark, Shiner Brewery.

We think that they had the best view on that "high" hill. This community is filled with many German and Czech people. We're so happy to hear you mention the surrounding areas you visited. This is truly the city of "halfway to everywhere ". We have some great places available for touring. Splashway is truly a gem of a Waterpark for the middle of nowhere! Great to hear you then cooled down, in Shiner, at the brewery. Honestly the best beer ever made. Lastly, there are no words to describe or define our heritage other than our painted churches. Our forefathers built gorgeous replication's of the catholic churches in Europe.Thank you for sharing your time at Messy Mule Acres, it was a pleasure and honor. Wedding Weekend

We had a terrific weekend. The house is brand new & sparkling clean with the fresh fragrance of aeromantic soaps & candles. Our local hostess laid out a nice welcome tray of cheese, sausage & crackers, along with a bottle of wine to greet us ! Comfy beds & soft towels. Would definitely stay there again !

Beautiful home

Loved our stay! Home was very comfy and was fully stocked! The home was decorated for Christmas with a Christmas tree and hints of the holiday season throughout. The lighting was amazing in every room. HVAC unit was quiet and very efficient. The outdoor spaces are great to hang out with family and fiends of all ages. The property manager was very responsive and worked to help us check in early so we could get ready for a rehearsal dinner. We plan to visit this property again in the future.

Our group of high school friends (from the '70's) voted the Messy Mule retreat as the best we have stayed at for our annual get together! The beds were very comfortable, linens and towels so soft! Well stocked kitchen with nice dishes and every amenity available. Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the firepit, but time was limited. Very convenient to so many activities in the area. We would definitely book again for our girls weekend. Thank you for sharing your home!
