Wonderful space

This cabin had all the things to make our visit complete! We had several families and were able to cook, visit, play games, and enjoy the fire pit on the river. Everything was perfect for a few days of R & R! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at the Fussy Bear River Lodge. The home was beautiful with a well-appointed kitchen. We cooked a big holiday dinner while we were there and had all the pans and utensils we needed. So easy! We had three families staying together and had plenty of space. We will definitely stay here again!

The house is very beautiful, with lots of room. We had 10 adults and 3 children, and were very comfortable. When I had to reach out to the owner, he responded promptly. The house sits on a river, that you can wade in. The kitchens are well equipped and are spacious. The bedrooms are very cozy and comfortable. There are 5 bathrooms however, one of them is a half bathroom and one is a powder room. The top three bedrooms have to share one bathroom, but it worked out.

3 families - 4th of July fun!

We had a wonderful time at this property! Three families of cousins traveled from New York, Colorado, and Alabama to meet up, and the owners were so kind and accommodating, even allowing an early check-in for the family who flew in early.The home was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. All the beds were cozy, and it was such a bonus that each set of parents had a king bed. We loved how close the house was to Ellijay and the local vineyards. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking family meals, and the pool table provided lots of fun and laughs!!There was easy access to the river, and we made such precious memories with the next generation of cousins. We will definitely book this property again!

This home worked great for our extended family vacation - group of 6 adults, 2 teens and 2 children. There was plenty of room for everyone and additional sleep options had we needed them. The home was beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked. We didn’t have any issues on our trip but the contact was responsive when I reached out ahead of arrival and after departure. There are 3 levels in the home (so obviously stairs) and a slope with additional stairs to the outdoor fire pit and dock. Grandma stayed in the master on the main level to reduce her use of the stairs and that worked out. We enjoyed the game room, pool table, living room for games and movie night and of course the outdoor area - coffee in the morning and relaxing in the afternoons. The group enjoyed exploring the river and sitting around the fire pit. There are many options for activities within 30 minutes of the property and we enjoyed exploring North Georgia. Thank you for sharing your home!

Best house on the River!

I cannot say enough good things about this vacation rental. It is ideal for everyone! Traveling with multiple adults? Perfect! Traveling with extended family? Excellent! Need a place to spend a holiday? Couldn't ask for better! Kids? Teenagers? Retired? Ideal! Amazing! Spectacular! The home is updated and full of everything you need. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. The place is crisp and clean. The paint colors, the decor...it is all just what you would want staying in a river house in the woods. You can be as secluded as you want to be or hop in the car and be in quaint downtown in minutes. The deck has stairs that lead right down to the beautiful river. There is a fire pit, a grill, multiple decks with seating areas, and plenty of outdoor space for you to become one with nature. And, speaking of nature, there are too many hikes and trails and waterfalls close by to even think about listing. The home, aside from its perfect location, is in spectacular shape. Everything is in working order, the appliances all seem new. The owners have done a great job of making sure that all the necessities are there. Arcade games, foosball, pool, chess, comfy couches and multiple tvs are all inside for those who prefer to view nature through a window. And don't worry, there are plenty of awe-inspiring views from almost every room in the house. The owners are attentive and responsive and the directions for what needs to be done on check in and check out are very clear. All in all, this place is amazing. We will continue to make family memories here for as long as it is available. Thanks to the owners for creating such an amazing space and for sharing it with us!
