Generally stay was good, place was as described. Know went checking in that the keys are off site (10 min drive away) and that you must go pick them up and drop them off so factor that timing into your schedule. Also cleaning was ok but clear that the bathroom mats were not cleaned with each stay. The ones in the master bathroom had long hair all over them.

Bad host communication etiquette

At first, communication was good, in that all instructions were sent in perfect detail before check in. The strangness began when i received a call from the host on my personal number around 8pm, saying we had to check in before 10pm, which was not communicated in the extensive check in instructions, but I obliged. Second incident occurred 2 days into my stay when we ran out of the 1 paper towel and couple of garbage supplied. I asked the host to have the cleaner drop us off more as we still had 2 days left. After the cleaner came, the host calls my personal phone again, asking if we had thrown any parties as the cleaner said there was a mess. Only mess included clothes in luggages in the hallway due to little bedroom and closet storage and un-used plastic plates and utensils on kitchen table, and an unmade bed. This phone call consisted of the host lecturing and stressing if it wasn't cleaned before we left we would be charged, and damages found ANYWHERE would be charged and continued to list the cost of all charges from towels to marks on walls. The cherry on the cake was receiving a message at 9am the day of our checkout saying we had to leave by 10, even though all previous instructions said 11am. 1 message sent through VRBO, another differently typed on my personal number. Only when I refused and sent screenshots saying otherwise did he say it was a "typo". Nice unit but be careful, take your pictures, and follow instructions carefully as we did to protect yourself!
