Charming new construction home located in neighborhood community that has a private beach on the Stockbridge Bowl. Just completed in Spring of 2020, the home is open and airy and the perfect place to relax and enjoy being in the country while having all the modern conveniences of a brand new home. Whether you enjoy walks, hikes, swimming, kayaking, skiing, museums, shows, concerts or dining at great restaurants, it is all just minutes away.

This four bedroom, two bath home has an open kitchen, dining, living room layout with high ceilings and great light. The master bedroom and a second bedroom are also on the first floor, with two kids bedrooms and play/lounge areas upstairs, creating a bit of separation when it is time to wind down. The home is a short walk to the community beach, where you are free to use our kayaks located right at the lake on the neighborhood’s kayak rack or just lounge at the beach. Downtown historic Lenox and the town of Stockbridge are each 3 miles from the home, with dozens of food options, great shopping and many area attractions.

The home is equipped with central heat/air conditioning, internet, washer/dryer, gas fireplace, dishwasher and a tankless water heater, ensuring a comfortable stay.

Nice house because new

To bad they can’t invest more money in kitchen bowls, pots, etc. not a good house to cook good size meals for a family. I guess their other guest didn’t cook much and ate out. Also beds are not comfortable especially master. I had my husband bring up two extra comforters to put on so I could sleep. Very firm bed. So if you like that then you will enjoy. The house itself is beautiful.

Thank you for the feedback. We generally restock kitchen supplies in the spring in advance of the summer season and will be sure to do so. Bed comfort is a bit trickier, as it is a matter of preference and we've actually had a number of guests comments on how comfortable they thought the beds were.

Nice getaway

My wife and I very much enjoyed our three-night stay. The unit was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. A sizable kitchen and plenty of space on the main floor and upstairs was as advertised online and provided room to spread out as needed. We liked the backyard deck and dining table, where we snacked and sunned in the afternoons. The property's location, near a scenic lake and in the woods but also part of a small complex, was a good fit for us. It was pleasant and safe to walk around the grounds, and the unit itself felt private and buffered from neighbors. Our only, mild, complaints were low water pressure from the kitchen sink faucet and some struggles to fully master the multiple television remote controls and programming options; clear, written instructions would be a welcome addition. In all, though, we would recommend this ptoperty to others and would eagerly return to it should we find ourselves staying in the same area again.

Great low-key family getaway

Lovely, clean, renovated home just a short walk from a private lake with docks for sitting, jumping, etc. Everything was new and I was impressed with the cleanliness of the property. Decent size patio with outside table/chairs and a grill, along with a good-sized side yard for running, game of catch, etc. 2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 upstairs. Upstairs also has a loft area with variety of board games, books, etc. We came with our 3 young kids and the set up worked perfectly for us. Close drives to Stockbridge and Lenox. Really enjoyed our stay!

Winter weekend getaway

Lovely house in beautiful setting. On dirt road which was passable but a heads up for winter guests. We had everything we needed for a quick weekend getaway.

Well designed home

With a family get together with ages ranging from 8 months to 69 years, this 4 bedroom home served us well. We especially enjoyed the open plan kitchen shared with living room and lovely gas fireplace. We hope to return. One small suggestion: lighting over dining room table could not be dimmed, and was really bright, so suggest softer lightbulbs and also house could use another standing lamp.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this property again.

Great spot and great house. Would recommend a couple of minor additions: (1) an electric kettle and tea pot (we are tea drinkers); (2) more dish towels; (3) hand towels for the bathrooms; and (4) more blankets. Thank you!
