The evolved property management people seem to be nice. Lynn, the host was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Properties in a quiet little neighborhood kind of in the middle of everything. It was a great stay won’t hesitate to go again

Comfortable & Perfect Location

Trip to explore Castor Creek Shut-Ins and Johnson Shut-ins. This property was very comfortable, quiet and convenient. We enjoyed walking to the near by Pickle and Perk coffee shop every morning. Easy check-in and check-out. Central to hiking and restauraunts. Great host, and great experience. Hope to be back in a few months.

House overall was very nice. A little dated but clean and well stocked. The mattress in the big bedroom could be replaced and a few squeaky doors but all minor things. House is close to Johnston Shut in’s, Elephant State Park and Tauma Sauk Falls. There are also a number of fun restaurants around the area. The Pickle and Perk looked interesting but unfortunately wasn’t open during our stay. But the Brick and barrel Speakeasy and Iron Mule were fun local places to eat. Also The Abby is very good too, with giant cinnamon rolls. Hostess was very responsive. Overall a very nice house and little town with some fun thrift stores in the area.

Thank you for the thoughtful review and for pointing out those minor details. We're so glad you found the house clean, well stocked, and in a great location for exploring Johnson's Shut-Ins, Elephant Rocks, Taum Sauk Falls, and all the fun local spots to eat and shop. The mattress in the big bedroom has already been replaced, and we've taken care of the squeaky doors as well. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and hope future guests enjoy the house and the charm of this little town just as much as you did.

Cute and comfortable house - highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Not only is it close to several state parks and sights, but Lynn also let me know about some of the local happenings in town that were fun to check out as well. Any time I had a question, Lynn got right back to me and made us feel at home. She even provided dog bowls and a kennel to help us with our dogs. Great stay and great owner!

Great Place, Highly Recommended

Great location. Place has pretty much everything you would expect if you were staying over at a friends house. Everything worked. Place was really quiet and comfortable. There are two bedrooms, but there is also another private area to sleep. So three couples can fit in here comfortably. Central location, so you are not too far from anything. There are a few restaurants that are less than 10 minutes away. Place was easy to find. The host Lynn, texted us a few days ahead of time letting us know how to contact her in case there was an issue. There were no issues though. Most places just have the basic necessities. This place went well beyond that.
