Very Good

We stayed for 5 days, 2 families in total. The home was completely remodeled and beautiful. It had everything we needed, fully stocked kitchen, games, water toys and even leashes for the dogs. The location was good, although right next to a busy road, we were still able to escape and enjoy the water and fire. Some recommendations for guest would be to include specific parking directions as we parked on the neighbors property and didnt get a good welcome from that. Garbage was left in the garage from prior guests that made for a smelly first impression, as well as laundry left in the dryer and a pair of dirty socks on the table. The property manager did apologize for the garbage issue. Other that that, we enjoyed our stay. We shared positive feedback with other locals in the area.

From the owner: “Thank you so much for your review. It helps us so much to know things that need to be addressed. Garbage is tough in the town of Elcho, as there is no local pickup. It has to be brought to the dump, and it’s only open three days a week. So if a guest checks out on a day that it isn’t open, there is nowhere for the garbage to go. We will address the leftover items with our property manager. Again, thank you for your review.”
