Just a Lovely property. Had all the amenities we needed, great local coffee in the freezer, and extra super silky lotion in the bathrooms! Very convenient in a beautiful setting!

This property is in an excellent location to explore the area by car. It is set back from the road and quiet. It’s an older rental that has been somewhat updated. We didn’t realize there was no dishwasher until after we arrived. Make sure someone wants to do any dishes or bring paper goods with you. There’s no air conditioning, but fans were placed in all the rooms. The fenced backyard is accessed only from outside the house. You can hike uphill behind the house for a nice view. We saw lots of deer and wild turkeys. The host was very helpful.

We loved our stay here. The place is quintessential Durango! You would never know you’re just minutes away from downtown Durango in this beautiful, peaceful setting. The house is tucked back away from the road as you enter a long driveway lined with towering trees. In back of the house is forest and a trail leading up the mountain which you are welcome to enjoy. Everything about this place is charming and cozy. Plenty of room for our little dog to roam around the yard too. We wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a nice mountain retreat away from the noise of the city. It is only about 15 minutes from the Train Depot, and other downtown sites. The host is easy to communicate with. During our stay we learned the difference between the lock on the door knob and the electronic locking device. The two are not related. One morning as we were leaving to go on our daily adventure, we locked the door knob out of habit. We then realized we were locked out of the house. Thankfully the host was easy to be reached and the issue was quickly resolved. Over all we enjoyed our stay here.

Property was great for quiet. Getting there from downtown was annoying as there was a lot of road construction, but it still didn't take long. Beds were good for a VRBO. Wasn't the cleanest, window sills, around edges of room, next to shower. Also, they did have a mouse visit us. A number of electrical outlets didn't work and same problem with a lamp. Overall good, we're from the country so those issues are typical.
