This beautiful home on Lake Chatuge is spacious, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed for a fabulous family late summer vacation. We loved lounging and swimming from the dock on the quiet but expansive cove and also rented a pontoon boat and spent hours exploring the lake and tubing. We had a campfire in the fire pit one evening and enjoyed the smores provisions left for us by the host and also took a dip in the hottub. Everything about the house is beautifully maintained and labeled to make for a very enjoyable stay. I can't recommend it highly enough!

The house was perfect for our extended family gathering. We loved that each room had king beds and private baths. Kitchen was well equipped. The host was very responsive and was able to accommodate our early check-in request. Highly recommend.

What an amazing vacation experience! The thoughtful owner has graciously provided everything you'll need for a no worries stay.The house is immaculate, and the screen porches with ceiling fans and great lake views are where we spent most indoor time.We enjoyed the lake location on a quiet cove, with the completely covered dock providing shade for everyone. The slope from the yard into the lake provided a shallow area where the kids could play while standing on the bottom. Speaking of the yard, a great area for our baseball game!All in all, a great time for our three generation family, with wonderful memories made, and we hope to come back.

Beautiful Lake Home

We had a wonderful time here for a girls weekend. We found the house very accommodating, beautifully furnished and decorated and there were thoughtful extra touches that were much appreciated! The views were beautiful and the gentle slope to the lake was easy to manage.

Very good. Steep steps to lower floor but the young did not have an issue. Several nice porches , shade at lakeside. Plenty chairs near dock and around fire pit. House was decorated nicely and well equipped. Water was deep at end of dock and good for floating or swimming. Location was a little far from where we rented pontoon boat. But over all We were well pleased. 12 of us and we had plenty of room

Wonderful lake house

Everything about Villa di Lago is high quality and super comfortable. This was our second summer visit with kids and grandkids and we hope to be back next year!

Thanksgiving Getaway

Our family decided to spend Thanksgiving week at this beautiful home on Lake Chatuge. The home was spacious and we liked the fact that each bedroom had it's own bathroom The house was well stocked and we had plenty of room to cook our Thanksgiving feast in the large open kitchen. It was only a short drive to neighboring towns so there was plenty to see and do. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great week at Villa di Lago! Beautiful, well appointed house with a great boat dock. Great location as well; just a few minutes from Hayesville. We'll be back next summer if possible.

Gorgeous lake house

We have enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous lake house. The house has perfect layout for a family vacation and it has absolutely everything you need and more. Great vacation!

We had the best vacation. The house was perfect for us to get our children and grandchildren together. Everything from a high chair to a wading pool for the little ones. We had everyone swimming by the end of the week. The robot vacuum cleaner was a big hit. We would love to stay at your house again!

New Years Eve getaway

We loved the house. It was beautifully decorated and so very well stocked. We loved that it had 4 primary suites that were all very nice. The location is beautiful and not hard to get to at all. We would love to stay again in warm weather to take advantage of the water activities. Francia is very responsive to every question. We plan to go again.

Villa Lago Extraordinaire

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Villa Lago! Loved the four bedrooms-each with a king bed and en-suite bathroom. Great views of the lake from the two screened porches, living room, dining room and most bedrooms. Plenty of space to spread out. Great kitchen for those who love to cook. We will request to return!

Beautiful Lake front villa

We stayed in this lovely home over Thanksgiving holiday with family. The home is well situated on the lake with an easy walk down to the water and dock. Inside, the flow of the rooms is open and nicely updated. The kitchen is large and well stocked, plenty of utensils and pots, pans and dishes. The bedrooms are big and comfortable. Bathrooms have all been beautifully updated with plenty of space. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had and very nice! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to return during warmer months to take advantage of the dock and fun water activities!

Annual Family Vacation

This was our second year staying at Villa di Lago and it did not disappoint. The house is just exquisite. Our family of 5 loved that that they each got their own private bedroom with en suite. Our dog loves jumping off the dock where we spent a lot of time enjoying the lake. The interior design of the house is next level. The kitchen has pretty much everything you would need for cooking to include crock pot, waffle maker, and blender. We spent the evenings either by the fire pit or on the screened in porch. We had such a relaxing vacation (we never want to leave, lol). Steve and Francia are great hosts as well, very responsive and just genuinely nice people. We look for forward to staying at this property again!!

Annual Family Vacation

Francia was a life saver!!! We got news that the property we originally rented had a septic issues 3 days before traveling from VA to Lake Chatuge and this happened to be the last waterfront property that was big enough for my family and allowed pets. I booked it right away and asked to get a message stating that it was booked. Francia responded right away stating it was ours for the week. SHEW!!! Crisis averted!! Not only was this property absolutely beautiful it actually ended up being perfect for our family. The house is beautifully decorated and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was fully stocked and even had a crockpot that we used to make chicken tacos one night.The little dock house was stocked with floaties and even had kayaks that we enjoyed tootling around in. The boat dock was the perfect size for the rental that we got from Boundary Waters. Francia was a fantastic host and was very responsive. She even gave us a slightly later checkout because we were initially booked through Sunday morning at our original place but her place was only available through Saturday. I highly recommend Villa di Lago and any property that these owners may rent out.

Our family of 12, plus 3 fur babies, was overwhelmed by this magnificent house. The amenities were overflowing and everywhere we looked, there were more surprises. Smores, wine, toys, kayaks, tons of snacky treats (for the humans and the pups), and this is just a short list! The lakefront view was breathtaking, and it was so peaceful sitting on the dock and the covered porches. The kids, ages 11, 10, 9, 8 and 4 were in a constant state of having fun. We truly were very sad leaving such a fantastic property that we called home for five nights. We will be back!

We're so glad your family and fur babies had such a memorable stay. It sounds like everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, found something to love, whether it was the lakefront views, the dock, the covered porches, or all the little extra touches scattered throughout the house.
